My husband and I booked Palazzo Guglielmo, after a stay in the nearby Convento (which was twice the price and not as spacious), We both loved it, the grounds behind the high walled portico were cool and green after a day at the sea, there are numerous coves and bays to visit just a few k away, and Mario is most helpful with advise on how to find them! Of all the places we stayed in Italy this was one of the best, location and lovely grounds not to be faulted.
The local cafe, "Louis "is a great place to soak up the atmosphere of this delightful town and the expresso with almond syrup not to be missed.

We were travelling with our 2 children of 1 and 4 years-old and our stay was very nice. The Palazzo has a beautiful courtyard and garden. The rooms are very well air conditioned and spacious with very modern bathrooms.
the service is very good as they are all friendly and dedicated.
we really enjoyed our stay and recommend the place to everybody!.

An old palazzo totally refurbished in a small village close to Otranto. Only 6 rooms in the patio. Our was more like a suite for 4 people, a large living room with two individua beds, and a big room wth 5m high ceiling like a church. Nice bathroom too. Small pool, several chillout areas inside, in the garden or on the roof terrace. they have a private parking. Breakfast is served on the terrace bext to the pool. Service is casual but Mauro, the manager, is very friendly and helpful.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Palazzo Guglielmo one night during our trip in Salento. The palazzo is in a tiny town of Vignacastrisi, which is less than 5 minutes by car to the seaside. Castro is the closest seaside town, and it was one of my favorites with beautiful blue waters. The Palazzo has a beautiful courtyard and garden. The breakfast is served in the gardens and is very peaceful and relaxing. There is a large selection of cakes for breakfast. The rooms are very well air conditioned and spacious with very modern bathrooms. We were recommended to go to eat at Hotel La Roccia in Castro, which was one of the best lunches I had in Puglia with a variety of fish antipasti and pasta. The Palazzo is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore Salento or the Adriatic coast of Puglia. I highly recommend it to everyone!

This is an oasis - a wonderful place to relax. It's a kind of magic when you are standing on the small piazza outside the hotel, you wonder if this is really the right place, and then the doors open - and yes, this is for sure the right place! Wow, It's a wonderful place!
