“Totally fantastic!”
Reviewed June 29, 2010

Spent a week in the dog friendly b&b and had the most fantastic holiday.

Simon and Andrew the owners made us all feel so welcome and were full of great advice to day trips out and places to eat in the evening.

It was doggy paradise, with free roam of the extensive grounds, including lakes to cool off in :o)

The B&B accomodation was first class, finished to a very high standard.

We will definitely be going back... the best place I've stayed in the UK and the Gower is just beautiful with lots of dog friendly beaches all year round.

A real gem.

We have just come back from Oldwalls and I can't wait to go back. We stayed in the B&B part of the complex and I was very impressed with the self-catering facilities available. There is a huge communal kitchen and slightly smaller living room that can be used if you want to cook.
The rooms were modern in their presentation and the ensuites were great. This is the best night sleep I have had in a hotel, both my partner and myself slept straight through.
The grounds are still in development and due to a lovely rainsoaked weekend it was a little soggy to get round but when the sun came out it was gorgeous.
Its a great place to stay while visiting the Gower as you are only about twenty minutes from Swansea by Car and about 15 minutes to the nearest beach. The lambs being kept on one of the fields was also very cute to watch play. All in all a very relaxed weekend.

We stayed only 2 nights in this wonderful location. The accomodation is a brand new combination of B&B and Cottages in a tranquil farm setting.

We used the Dog Freindly B&B accomodation. 5 star accomodation supplemented by use of full kitch facilities including free tea and coffee on demand and a modern TV lounge. Bedrooms and en-suite are modern and luxurious.

Breakfast was in a modern open barn-like room and one sunny morning, even out on the patio at the rear with views of the hills and the trout pools.

What makes this place is the genuine welcome and hospitality of the owners Andrew and Simon. They'll give you any freindly advice or leave you to your own devices.

If you have dogs then they will think that they have come to heaven. This is the most dog-freindly place I have ever seen.

Dogs or not you'll ever be made more welcome. The acid test... YES we'll be back next year.

Hired a cottage for my husband, myself, a couple of friends and 3 dogs. Could not have been more perfect, the dogs roamed through the fields, no leads required, until they were exhausted so we would all happily stroll over to the local pub for drinks and food. Everyone was so friendly, the beaches were deserted and the sun shone! The kitchen was fully equiped with washing machine, tumble and dish washer the Plasma was huge and the sofa was really comfortable. Can't wait to go back.

Well, after such a good Summer break at Oldwalls, we decided to spend the New Year with 16 of us staying for a 4 day break.

I have to say, we were so impressed yet again by the Service and hospitality offered by the owners, we keep going back and that says something about this place.

We stayed in the main farmhouse B&B and shared the experience with friends who haven't stayed on the Gower before. Everyone who stayed with us was so impressed they just want to come back again.

Very pet friendly for dogs and Guests of course and we highly recommend this place to stay when visiting the Gower. It's still a hidden gem but now getting much more accolade as more and more people stay here.

Once again, thanks to Andrew and Simon for all their hispitality and making our stay over New Year's Eve a very memorable one.

See you all again soon.

Dave and the other 15 who stayed......

Wow...this is real gem located on the Gower...only stayed for a short two night stay but we absolutely loved it.

The weather was shocking during our stay, but the accommodation more than made up for it. The staff are super friendly, really welcoming and the best thing is....it's all pet friendly...which our English Bull Terrier loved.

We stayed in a self catering two bedroom cottage, which was fabulous. There's loads of room inside spread over two floors, bedrooms downstairs with the living accommodation on the first floor. It all works very well. The interior design is very contemporary and everything is finished beautifully. There's real detail in the property. Integrated TV/DVD's in the bedrooms, massive TV in the lounge (again all dog friendly), with comfy leather sofa's. The outside space with the cottages is well thought out.

The grounds at Oldwalls are still being finished off, but given the weather that this summer has thrown at us, it's understandable why it's been delayed. However, the cottages are complete and once the grounds are landscaped, it will be a first class complex. There's more to come too...riding, gym, etc. All this will makes for a luxury experience in the UK.

The dog element for this accommodation is a massive draw and it's the little touches that were really nice. A dog towel, poo bags supplied and the fact that the accommodation is all tiled, makes for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The Gower is amazing, if you haven't been to this part of Wales, then go. The beaches are superb...and empty!!! Dog's are in their element. Best of all, you're still only a short drive from Swansea.

So if you're looking for dog friendly, 5 Star accommodation, where you're treated like a member of the family, then this is the place for you.

We really can't wait to go back next summer and experience Oldwalls in the dry...!!!
