An unexpected delight of a cafe in the small town of Taihape. We came across it when travelling from Tarangi to Wellington. It serves an imaginative selection of coffees and teas and some really tasty and unusual home made food. We had a brekky bun which was vastly superior to most with a delicious dressing in the bun and another on the salad garnish. Best of all was the value for money - we'd bought some hats at a nearby shop where they gave us a voucher for the cafe so for a little over £5 we had a tasty snack lunch and 2 drinks. Toilets also very nice and clean which is important on a long journey!
