Loving the Route 66 menu and staff yet again, sometimes I wonder if we should rent a table there permanently. Gina and Kirk are always very welcoming. On this occasion we were cold and fancied going out for dinner, after getting settled on a table we warmed up with their amazing hot chocolate and munched some of their very yummy nachos. Following this with some of their jambalaya and for my partner the speedy Gonzalez bean burger.
All the food here is home made and delicious
At this point we were stuffed so no pudding but maybe next time :-)
Be back again and again until we have exhausted the many menu choices

Thanks for the review guys. Glad you feel comfy here. No room for dessert? Next time you feel like a treat just come in for Hot chocolate and pudding!

Super burgers and a little bit of Americana in rural Devon. Friendly staff and scrupulously clean. if you like burgers you'll love it here.

My wife is from USA and said the meatloaf is the best she's had (great mash potato and sweetcorn). My 17yr daughter had the route 66 hamburger which she said was delicious. There was plenty of choice for young children, my 9yr old daughter said the reeses milkshake was absolutely outstanding- she liked the puki panda ice cream and was impressed when the waitress offered to wash Puki for her.

Service was excellent and a very pleasant setting meant that we were very happy here.

Thank you

One of the best meals we have had for a while, owner was lovely and the food was authentic and freshly made, no frozen burgers or chicken wings here, freshly made and delicious. Try the shakes, you won't be disappointed.

This diner is located on the main street in Axminster, Devon. Run by an American couple, the food had a distinctively American feel to it. Breakfast was served alongside lunch as it was about 12md. Both breakfasts and lunches were extremely good with excellent variety on offer. A very nice meal was had by all, thank you. The service was excellent also, with compliments to the female owner who served us throughout. Will definitely call again should we be in the area.
P.S. - Ask for the sween onion sauce which is made on the premises. Delicious!
