We arrived to a welcome picnic hamper of goodies, which was a lovely touch.
This place is unique and has been renovated to a high standard.
We did have a problem with gas/hot water on the second day but the owners Stuart and Sandra were great and ensured it was sorted asap. They kindly brought round a bottle of Proseco as an apology.
There is free wifi and sky tv. A lovely log burning fire with plenty of logs and coal.
The bedrooms are on the lower ground level as is the bathroom with the lovely copper bath.
The shower room is on the ground level off the kitchen. We would have liked a shower in the lower ground, but you cant have everything.
There is a great outdoor balcony, which we didnt really get chance to appreciate as we did not have brilliant weather.
Bed was very comfortable with a lovely feather quilt. The pillows were hollow fibre, it would have been nice to have a choice of feather.
We took our dog with us and they provide everything you need, bowls, biscuits, blankets etc.. There is a court yard but no garden.
There is a post office about 30 yrds away that sells all you need. The pub opposite is the Falmouth Arms, excellent and a must.
