Stayed 1 night here- cabin looked okay from the outside but was situated so close to the Pacific Highway that the trucks passing all night long kept us awake. The inside smelt terrible- musty and damp. It needed a good clean. The walls were running with condensation and the mattress and pillows were old and very stained. We made the bed with the sheets provided and had to strip the bed in the morning as required. Very basic- no shampoo, soap etc provided. Couch was lumpy and uncormfortable and situated so you had to crick your neck to view the TV. For the same price we could have stayed in Port Mac in much better lodgings but we were looking for somewhere on the journey north and chose this place as it did say it was quiet- HA
I guess if you dont mind the smell, traffic noise and pick one of the bigger cabins you might enjoy the water sports in the summer. Winter is a definite no-no as we froze even with 3 blankets on the bed. Couldn't wait to get away in the morning.
