Belfairs is in very good shape when you consider it is a municipal golf-course that gets a lot of use. The cost is reasonable (circa £14/round) and it is well maintained. It can be a bit daunting as a lot of the holes have trees either side so hitting straight certainly helps you. There are a couple of challenging Par 3 holes. There is some work going ahead but this doesn't really interfere with your game. Greens are very well looked after. Watch out for dog walkers as they tend to cross the fairway without warning!
