“Best Asian food in Leigh”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

We have eaten twice at Fortune Garden along the London Road in Leigh. The modest and unassuming exterior and fairly minimalistic interior belie the gastronomic delights that lie ahead. For only £15.50 per head you can order ANYTHING from the extensive and imaginative menu. We went for a wide range of starters including Mussels in black bean sauce and Chilli prawns all of which were exquisite and intensely tasty. This was followed by a generous portion of aromatic crispy duck and two main courses including the highlight of the feast, steak in piquant sauce which was incredibly high quality. The service was polite and helpful, with a very flexible ordering system which meant there was not lots of waste. Would eat there every week out of choice!

“Excellent”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Went for the evening buffet, don't be fooled, it's not a 'help yourself to sad old food being kept warm' buffet - more an all you can eat of anything on the menu, freshly cooked to order. Everything was fantastic, excellent value. This restaurant had several changes of ownership a couple of years back, but this is the best it's been, so I really hope they don't sell up any time soon - but with this quality, I don't see why they should ever be short of custom. The best for miles around.

“Still Great after 10+ Visits”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

This is my favourite place for Cooked to order value Chinese Buffet.

Been so many times, and its very consistent, Service is always excellent and nothing is too much trouble, Food is all cooked to order and well presented and order as much as you can fit in, starters are all superb and i always over do it as they are so good, as are the sizzler dishes, prawns are big as are the mussels, a decent choice on the Buffet option menu at £15.50 plus 10% service, never been disappointed (apart from the mango chicken which was not to my tastes),Ribs, Squid, Beef,Lamb, Chicken, rices, noodles, veg dishes, soups, and toffee apples/bananas and ice cream to finish, just eat till you bust, average cost for 2 is £43 inc 2 pints and 1 soft drink and service charge..!!! hard to beat, nothing bad about this place, Tap(free) and bottled water also available

A la carte menu also available but i feel most choose the buffet menu as all you need is one there, can get busy on Saturdays so would book now, fairly quite midweek though.
Great for family, friends, couples, plenty of room between tables too, a comfortable easy going place.
