Having not visited The Bellhouse for several years we were very pleasantly surprised with the menu and waiting staff. We were quickly greeted and shown to our table, even though it was very busy. The menu had something for everyone and I noticed that it also had vegetarian choices, which is pleasing. We all chose the beer battered cod with hand cut chips and delightful mushy peas. The food was piping hot and attractively plated. My husband chose the apple tart with rum and raisin ice cream - I was told it was the best he had ever had.
Our waiter was Geoff who was very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us.
We will definitely visit again
