Went with my girlfriend in mid March 2014 and was totally blown away. Between the breathtaking views, impeccable service, and quality fishing, this place is truly paradise. I have fished with plenty of captains, and rest assured, you will not find a harder working captain and mate than Shane & Johnny. Very comfortable boat ride to the fishing grounds, and plenty of action when you get there!

After fishing hard all day, the chef on the island, Liz, always greeted us with a smile, and more importantly appetizers(nachos, fish quesadillas, sashimi). Food there was great, and we really enjoyed the after dinner conversations with Liz and Steve(island host/comedian/breakfast chef/handyman/dog whisperer).

If you're looking for great fishing and pampering, look no further. Fantastic job Shane and crew!

The catching was a little slow the week we were there, but Captain Shane and Captain Bartolo worked very hard as well as their mates Johnny and Mike. You can't ask for more than that from a crew! Fishing isn't a guarantee of catching, so don't expect that anywhere you go. The hard work they put into trying put this trip over the top. This operation runs well as the whole crew works hard to make it special. The food was wonderful with plate portions very generous. Can't say enough good about it. Overall it was a fantastic experience and vacation.

Room Tip: Swam in the ocean...it doesn't get better than that. They kept the rooms comfortable and that i...

Absolutely awesome experience. 4 fishing buddies take one trip per year and dart landed in Panama this year. Luckily we came across Shane's lodge because we could not ask for a better trip. Aside from the FACT that he knows how to fish, he also knows how to take care of clients. Accommodations are excellent and the photos on his site don't do the lodge justice. As far as fishing, captain and mate work hard and we caught just about every fish we were looking for including what will likely be a once in a lifetime double header black marlin. If you are going to Panama, stay with Shane. Its a complete no-brainer. I will be back there with my sons when they get a bit older for sure. (For what its worth, I did a ton of research before booking this trip and there is a reason he has a perfect rating here. If you have any questions about our experience or want some live confirmation about this operation from a guy with no ties to Shane other than the 5 days we spent with him, call me, Joe at 603-867-5804).

It was our pleasure hosting/fishing with you guys! The fishing isn't always as good as it was when you guys were here. We are glad that you enjoyed your adventure here to Panama with us and hope to host you guys again sometime soon. Thanks! Shane.

One incredible outfit! From Captain Shane Jarvis and Johnny to Liz and Steve. Wow!!! We took our family of four to Propiedad de Paradise for some great fishing, and even better service. Shane steers the Top Cat out 44 miles to catch Dorado, ever mindful that my 14 year old son wants to catch his first tuna...even though it's not tuna season. My 11 daughter wants to catch a big fish as well, while my wife simply wants to watch and relax. All had fun while enjoying incredible "fresh tuna" wraps made by Liz. We come in late afternoon with our dorado and are greeted by the friendly Steve. Liz prepares the dorado several different ways. Fresh fish...nothing better!. Being exhausted, we hit the beds early. Steve even takes my son out for one last fishing excursion around the island before leaving the next morning. One recommendation...don't stay only one night! Shane Jarvis and his team are real pros, and now even better friends!

I was lucky to be able to speand 5 days with Shane and his crew at the Isla Parida, in mid November.
Fantastic service was rendered from the beginning of the trip, till a tour of the Panama Cannal
just prior to being dropped off at the Panama City Intl Airport.
Shane and Johnny put in long, full, and aggressive days, trying to help you catch all the
fish you want. Their fishing platform, a catamaran ~ 30 feet long, is immaculate and very comfortable.
The fishing equipment is top quality.
The Playa is beautiful, and you are pampered by Steve, who runs the lodge, and Lisbeth, a great
local chef. You will not be hungry or thirsty while staying there!
I will be looking to take another holiday with Shane and Co. as soon as possible.

From the moment we set foot in Panama City we had 1st class service from Captain Shane Jarvis and his crew of professionals. Our trip was in October which is a non-peak fishing season but you couldn't tell it from the all the action we had in our 3 day tour. There was also a spectacle of whales and dolphins that was unparalleled. And the fishing is just the start of the experience. Upon return form a “hard day” of fishing we were greeted with cold drinks and gourmet snacks. As we relaxed in front of a post-card quality ocean view and soaked it all in Liz the Chef created the evening meal that would rival a 5 star hotel. This is truly an island paradise right out of the movies.
The only way I think of to improve this experience is to stay longer. Thank you Captain Shane, Steve, Liz, Johnny, and Bernabe!

Propiedad de Paradise is one of those once in a lifetime experiences. From the time you leave the dock to the time you return, it's truly a treat.

We arrived on the private island and it felt like something out of a movie. We couldn't believe places like this existed. Who needs a large, impersonal resort when you can stay at Propiedad de Paradise. We were taken care of from the moment we arrived. We always felt right at home and the views overlooking the water and nearby islands at meal time are breathtaking.

Fishing with Captain Shane and Steve was an unfair advantage, the fish didn't stand a chance. They were very easy to get along with and made the time incredibly enjoyable. It seemed they were always one step ahead of the fish. Thanks guys for showing my wife and I such an awesome time. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a First Class experience and can't wait to return to fish with the guys again one day...

Cheers! Chris and Megan
