they have clean toilets! eventhough it is sharing basis but still i dont mind as long as it is clean. Jeff is very friendly and so the helpers. It is similar to water chalet but they're having dormitory style bedroom. Breakfast and lunch and dinner is available but if u insist to have nice dinner go to the restaurant on the beach " 13 saudara " the food is freaking cheap and nice! (trust me). anyway i don't regret staying here because other place is very expensive plus jeff treat all international and locals the same

I am lucky while my last stay at here, Jeff was in the house. I heard a lot of story about him and his place from my friends who have been there, and this time, here I am, to feel the experiences myself.

With RM65 per night inculde 3 meals everyday, honestly I didn't expect very much. I got a clean room and clean bathroom. And the most important, they have sundeck as i really love taking sunset pictures.

Amazingly, their hospitality were exceeding my expectations. Beside being at one of the "world class diving site", great hospitality makes you feels that you will come back to this place, and that's what happened to me. Well, Scuba Jeff facilities definately not the world class facilities, but the hospitality makes you feels belonging to this place. And I have no problem to come back someday.

Having my sunset dinner at sundeck, that was awesome! Hey, I have been told, Scuba Jeff has just done their rebranding. Cool!

Besides Sipadan (which I have to book earlier) all I need is ask them, where would I want to dive. From big fishes to small and tiny sea creatures, I can experienced it all around mabul dive sites.

Enough said, this place makes worth every penny I spent!

Me and my wife went to Scuba Jeff from 27/2 - 1/3.
Mabul Island is definitely the most amazing island by far. The water is crystal clear. Corals and fishes is out of this world!!
Scuba Jeff is a place where you would put everything aside. put aside your computers, emails, phones, facebooks. just go OFFLINE and just keep swimming!!
Jeff and his team make the trip most memorable for me and my wife as we celebrated my wife's birthday on the 29th Feb. Thats right...she's a leap year baby and what a way to celebrate a once in a forthe year birthday than at Mabul Island and most importantly at Scuba Jeff.
I would like to thank Jeff and his team from the bottom of my heart for making the birthday celebration come true.
for others planning to go to Mabul Island, this is the best place to stay!
room is nice, edequate beds, toilets is clean, food is nice&delicious.
electric is only 12hours though, but like i said, go OFFLINE and just keep swimming.

Today I hate myself for waking up in my own bedroom. There's nothing heavenly on earth compared to my days started at Scuba Jeff deck staring at Jeff's ocean made aquarium looking for octopus, ghost pipe fish, yellow spotted eels, fishes. Waiting & making friends with the Bajau Laut that you can't get easily at any other place. The macro dive with Scuba Jeff is a definitely awesome! Safety during the dive is no tolerance yet the experience is my best experience coz Jeff got the microscopic eyes. I like all my underwater photo shoot more because Jeff loves his jobs! Scuba Jeff's staffs are the coolest I have ever met. They cook the great foods, they sang with wonderful voice, they dance as the pro. The cleanliness is very well taken care of. I am coming back soon guys!

I would say this is a place where you can totally forget about your daily routine i.e. having morning bath and early snooze at night, catching sitcoms on TV, and what more cares about politics scenario. Its a place for you to once in a while be outlawed. You'll be amazed with the nature, local peeps and fresh sea products galore. Scuba Jeff Guest House specifically is a nice simple lodge with minimum facilities. With either having two tiers bunker or a single bed by yourself, sharing baths and an open sundeck in front is far enough cozy if your only intention is to get wet there! Foods are great and views are amazing. Try to once a while stare in the water at night as you might see turtles or fish ray hunting for food under the very own deck. I was lucky to see a tiger ray at about 1am during my trip. What else can I say here, just snap your sunshades on, laid back and enjoy the moment you spend there.

Room Tip: You might wanna choose room near to rear part of the lodge as there are might be guest who will stay...

With corals and numerous colourful marine life e.g. murrays, turtles, rays that live and pass through in front of the lodge, Scuba Jeff Sipadan is THE place to stay on a budget holiday. It is affordable and brings you literally, near, to the sea and its sea life.

It has comfortable rooms which provide the basic needs of a traveler. Freshly cooked seafood is served for lunch and dinner. If your lucky, please take the opportunity to buy from the Sea Gypseas crabs etc which are freshly caught by them. Clean Muslim prayer room is also available for muslim travelers.

The crystal clear waters are to die for. Snorkelers and divers have the opportunity to be up close with turtles! And other marine life.

Mabul is open 12 months a year and its location is not effected by any monsoon. Staying at Scuba Jeff SIpadan lodge is truly recommended!!
