The quaintest little beach side hotel, located in the second most beautiful location outside of Genoa, Italy (I recommend a visit to Camogli). The staff was unforgettable, the beach complete with hotel lounges and umbrellas was steps from the hotel. The ocean was warm and in case it isn’t the Recco community pool is less than a 100 yard walk. Restaurants and shops are from next door to a short walk away. We had two rooms and in typical European style the rooms are a bit tight, but, all amenities were great. Oh yeah, don’t let me forget the view. Stayed two nights but most definitely will return with the wife.

Accommodating to our motorbike travels and easy to deal with. A last minute call to stay in Recco gave us the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful stay, great accommodations in a beautiful setting. Being right on the water was perfect. Eating breakfast on the outdoor terrace relaxing + beautiful. We highly recommend + would return. Also the location was wonderful, just a short walk into downtown area.

The hotel is ‘ok’ for Bed & Breakfast standard, NOT hotel standard. VERY basic rooms with poor quality A/C. Breakfast was very very average! When raised the issue of having NO Air Con in the room the hotel owner simply did not care and gave us an attitude, when we mentioned there wasn’t even bread at breakfast he got angry and actually raising his voice! The hotel manager was also constantly smoking in the lobby, which is both unprofessional and illegal. Basically the hotel is ‘ok’ if you don’t expect much. But it feels like a 50 euro room place! (not 100 euro plus!) Would not stay again or recommend.

Italian Riviera is beautiful, strongly recommend staying in Comogli 2 miles down the road.

Stayed for 11 nights (May 25 - June 5) without a terrace (extra charge). Saw one room with terrace, room was smaller with only one chair instead of two. Location has fabulous views and close to public transportation, we rented a car & took advantage of their free parking. Staff was friendly (American English not their strongest point, so my wife used her fluent Italian) and breakfast was always predictably better than average for this class of hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
