In the past, we made very good experience looking at trip advisor for recommendations for hotels and restaurants. So when we did a stop over in Recco, we looked for highly rated restaurants. Da O' Vittorio was among and close to where we parked. The waiter was friendly and told us that their Foccacio was famous (he did not offer to bring the menu) and we thought this might be a starter. The Foccacio that was served after a while looked nice and tasted reasonable. When I asked for the bill, the Foccacio showed with a hefty price of 10 € per person, the small bottle of beer with 6€. Recco is not Pisa or Florence, and the quality of the food we have been served does not justify the price we paid. So this place was a let-down. I hope there are not too many of this kind highly rated in TripAdvisor as this would call the value and quality of the reviews in question.
