“An amazing family stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013 via mobile

Nusa Lembongan is much nicer than Bali's main island! It's quieter, cheaper, u can swim at the beach and the people are so lovely!
LIBV's are right next to 'the main strip' so your not far from all the restaurants and activities.
They also have a great ocean view!
Each villa is individually owned so their layouts are different and they have their own style. Some have their own plunge pool!
The pool area is fantastic and the bar staff make great cocktails. In fact all the staff were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble.
The only thing to be careful of if you have young children or your an older traveller is the stairs. I'd suggest requesting a villa closer to the bottom.
While your there see Ketut and get him to organise your snorkelling or scooter needs! The island Is so quiet it's pretty safe to use the scooter! Or u can hire a golf buggy!
The diving and snorkelling is amazing and easy for the whole family!
We will definitely be back!

My family and I stayed here and it was paradise. We had the second top villa, using 169 steps to get to it, couldn't complain as we knew before we got there. But the view was worth the climb. I would recommend that staying half way up the resort would be just as good with the views.
It was the good old Bali we all knew years ago, nice beach and no hagglers. Plenty of restaurants to go to but I do recommend that you take Indonesian money over there, there are money changing places but charge a big fee.
Hire scooters and drive around the island, its worth it.
Staff at these villas were excellent and very friendly.

We stayed in one of the amazing villas here and it was superb!! The villas are spacious and clean, with breathtaking views from each of the villas!! We were in one of the bottom ones, be careful if you book a top one as you may have to walk a lot of steps (good for exercise!). The staff especially reception were friendly and helpful and swimming and chilling by the infinity pool is a must as it is relaxing and has a stunning view!! Go and try some of the restaurants nearby and go to the Organic Day Spa down the bottom near the villas! Also go surfing and snorkeling as you will not be disappointed! Will be staying here next time we visit Bali :)

Fantastic place to stay and relax. Yes we were warned about the stairs but what a great way to get rid of dinner and a few cold Bintangs! The room was amazing as was the view and the local restaurants were great and very affordable. It was a great start to the Bali holiday before the mayhem of Kuta & Legian. Staff were great and the rooms were clean, tidy and the plunge pool a must if you are contemplating one! Make sure you a) do a snorkelling trip b) ride a scooter around the Island and over the small suspension bridge to Ceningan Island. Visit Le Pirate Resort on the way (turn right after the bridge) for a cold beer, a swim and a meal. Then onto the cliffs to jump off into the water - great fun for teenage kids! Very impressed with this resort and the Island experience and we also recommend visiting Sandy Bay, Mushroom Bay and riding around the whole Island.

Room Tip: The rooms at the top are obviously have the best views but if you don't want the 170 odd stairs...

On a whim we booked a trip to Bali for NYE and then stayed at Lembongan beach villas for 10 days with our 3 teenage children. What a fabulous relaxing holiday and a great start to the year - loved the island lots to do to keep kids amused while we all relaxed. It is a lot calmer and more relaxing than Seminyak.

I would not however recommend the island for young kids though, they need to be old enough to ride a moped, jump off a cliff into the ocean, snorkel, SUP and surf to fully enjoy it.

The beach villas were superb and the staff amazing - nothing was too much trouble and you always got a smile, a fabulous recommendation on where to go or what to do and they sorted it all. The villa serves great breakfast every day and there are tons of amazing little restaurants around the island accessible by moped or walking - in fact that was the biggest decision of the day - where to have dinner! We had a 2 bedroom villa at the bottom, not a bad thing as close to the pool, which we all loved. The villas are well maintained and felt like home away from home - we will def be back!

The most fantastic place for a relaxing holiday... you set your own pace! The villas are spectacular and the staff are all magnificent! Staff are on hand for any assistance from meals to advice to organising day or night activities...

Room Tip: all rooms are fantastic, great if you get a plunge pool if your kids are old enough as they wake ear...

As we pulled up to the beach could see the villas and we were excited. We were met on the beach and one of the guys took all our heavy bags up for us. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone who works here.
We stayed in Villa 8 and initially the steps up killed us. It is a long hike up and we had 2 kids aged 7 & 10 who complained but I must say by Day 2 we were use to the heat, the steps and no further complaints. So if the steps are your concern you will be fine but just don't forget anything!!!
The pool is beautiful horizon and they have kids pool toys which was very handy. Very personalized and dedicated service from all staff.
The villas are clean, spacious and well appointed. We didn't have any problems with bugs.
Our only complaint was the roosters as they crow alot and will start at 1am in the morning sometimes. If we went again I would get a villa with odd numbers as on the even side is a spare block with roosters.
but we would highly recommend these villas to couples and families.

Room Tip: Choose villa with odd numbers
