Perfect iced black coffee ☕
Helpfull and kind people.
Good atmosphere and a really really nice idea to recycle ♻ plastics. Bali and nusa need this!

Superb little place in the Main Street. Best coffee on the island, but the food is better. It felt great to have a clean and healthy lunch that was quite clearly made to order. My wife and I together had 4 of their salads and 2 juices. Coming from Sydney we would expect to part with $60+ but we handed over the equivalent of a $20 and it was covered. Awesome.

Was hoping for a lot more based on the trip advisor reviews! Tiny menu with no GF options. Limited seating and limited snacks.

Hello there,

Thank you for taking the time to write such a comprehensive review.

None of our 150+ Tripadvisor's reviews ever mentioned we got Gluten Free options. Still our lunch menu includes at least 3 salads that could be considered Gluten Free even if they are not labeled as "Gluten Free".

Please accept my sincere apologies for not having more choice compatible with your specific diet but we are just not a Gluten Free specialist.

Sincerely,

Valentin, Bali Eco Deli founder

We went to have lunch here as they had all the trip advisor advertisements on display. If you come here, don't come for lunch unless you just want a salad - that's all there is apart from coffee, muffins and fresh juices. We ordered four juices and were here for about 45 minutes as they basically came out one by one after a 15 minute wait for the first one. I must say the juice was good but there are plenty of places right on the beach front (this is on the dusty little main road) to get a fresh juice. I would bother going back.

Hello there,

Thank you for taking the time to write your review.

I am very sorry that our menu did not fit your needs & you had to wait so much time to get your juices ready.

As most of the top rated venues on Trip Advisor, we get quite busy at lunch time in high season. I am sorry you were expecting to get served before other customers as you were "only" ordering juices.

However, 15 minutes waiting time for your order to be queued seems quite standard on the island at this time of the year & during peak hours.

I guess you would have waited the same amount of time anywhere else in the same circumstances ...

Besides, you might have noticed that our current location is quite small. We will move to a much bigger location next month with 4 times the space in kitchen, twice the staff & twice the equipment.

Meanwhile we can only provide what our very small space can offer.

Again please accept my sincere apologies for getting below your expectations.

Sincerely,

Valentin, Bali Eco Deli founder

The Eco Deli is a charming little cafe, set up to fund a recycling program on the island. If you bring plastic bottles to them, you get 10% off the bill. We even got given a free eco-bag. The coffee was great, and they had soy milk, which I haven't found anywhere else in bali. I had a really good wild rice salad and juice, and would highly recommend the banana bread. The service was a little slow.
