We hired paddle boards again here after hiring them 2 years ago. Well they haven't been very well looked after. Water logged and fins missing. Plus they wouldn't budge on Rp 70.000 roughly $7 AUD an hour. Wouldn't even negotiate for a longer period. And no one really was using them so they must not want much business.
Anyway after just paddling around a bit the ankle strap from the leg rope fell off. My husband told the guy at Puri Nusa when he took it back and the guy got all aggressive demanding he pay to buy a new one. Well you can imagine the response from an Aussie bloke who's surfed for over 40 years. Tell them they are dreaming if they think we have to pay for their lack of care of their equipment. How rude.
Also if you try to hire boards or paddle boards at the nearby cafe Pisang Pisang they send you here to this dud place.
Look after your equipment guys , take some pride in what you do and don't try to rip off the tourists with such lame games as trying to make us pay for your old faulty gear.More
