Truly, this was a chance encounter. We'd just left the wonderful Horta Museum on the same street, and there it was, Forcado. I'd passed this by on the tram many times, and couldn't resist stepping inside. And - perfect for us and our house guests - they had four lemon pasteis de nata left! With their supply of Portuguese wine (we came away with a bottle of sweet - but not cloying - muscatel), this is a discovery to which we will return. Like their native Portugal, extremely friendly staff.

This is a perfect place to stop for a tea and a sweet pastei de nata before the visit to Horta's museum. The place has many types of the sweet pastries, ranging from the traditional pastei de nata to a Belgium twist - pastei de nata with speculous.

Very nice place to stop for a cup of coffee or tea! They specialize in pasteis, the Portuguese pastry but the add a little twist by adding some interesting flavors! I had the classic, the praline and the lemon! They were all delicious!

Scrumptious pastel de nata, good coffee and cappuccino, good assortment and variety of pastries and very kind and nice staff. The place itself is very neat and pretty. Open on Sundays. Will def go back.

I noticed the place but never went in until today. I had a tea and a typical Lisbon pastry. It was really great: very tasty!
Really a place to go!
Not very expensive in absolute terms but the small pastry was a but expensive considering its size!
