A good hotel in the back streets close to Avenue Louise, so a good spot for visiting the centre of Brussels with good restaurants etc in the immediate vicinity and nice streets. It is a nicer area to stay in than closer to the Grand Place, where the number of tourists made it slightly unpleasant. For anyone with children, it is worth mentioning that there is a very impressive play park with a large castle less than 5 minutes walk away near Porte de Hal. The staff on the desk were pleasant and helpful.

A good business like hotel, very friendly and helpful staff
Good location and clean. Free coffee in the mornings was good, would have been nice if it was free all day. I would certainly use NH Hotels again.

First the good news: This hotel is in a good location, two blocks off the main street and is pretty quiet. There are a number of fair to very good restaurants within two blocks and there are two great bakeries within two blocks. There is a small deli/grocery store on the other end of the block. The trolley is two blocks away and the Metro is about three blocks away. While the hotel information says it is easy to take the Metro from the train station to the hotel area, don't attempt it with a lot of luggage. Take a taxi from the train station. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Except for the bathroom, the room was clean and a good size. WiFi was free but a bit slow.

Then the bad news: If you have a car, parking is limited to 4-5 cars and street parking is difficult. There is a restaurant but the menu is limited and expensive. The ceiling above the tub was moldy and the tub was very slippery due to no anti slip material in the tub. The bathroom did not have a vent system which contributed to the problem. The floor is marble and also very slippery when wet. The TV is small, square and old but there was a good range of stations available.

For about a $100 a night it was not that bad.

The hotel is in a good location. We stayed for 1 night and saw most of the attractions by walking.
Room and staff were very nice. We only had a problem with the water flow mechanism in the shower.
You can find restaurants, supermarkets and metro station within 3 mins walking distance.

The hotel is handily situated close to Louise metro which is 3 stops from Gare Du Midi and a 15 minute walk to the Grande Place. It has some small restaurants and pleasant bars nearby, as well as some very swish shops, and has excellent soundproofing so that hardly a sound permeates your bedroom from outside. The decor is a little dated but the beds are super-comfortable. The shower is very powerful and the room is cleaned to a high standard. The desk staff are polyglots, they seem to be fluent in a number of languages and can't do enough to help you and make your stay a pleasant one. The breakfast is self-service. It is fine (excellent scrambled eggs but awful mushrooms, unexpectedly tasting of garlic and only uht milk for the tea) but nothing to write home about. Still, fruit and coffee are always available and the food is perfectly adequate. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel and will look to stay there again when I visit Brussels next.

This hotel is in a good location, perfect for exploring the city. It is in a nice area of town, however when we were there in August 2013 there was a lot of road works in the surrounding area. I don't see this as a significant problem however as the road works looked to be nearing completion.

The hotel was clean, with good size, well furnished rooms. Breakfast provided everything you would need and when a young woman (I didn't catch her name!) served us on the morning of the 23rd and 24th August, we had very good service.

As mentioned in some of the previous reviews, there was some street noise, however it always quietened down towards the end of the night and therefore was not too much of a problem.

Our five day stay was in a great location trams at the end of the street walking distance to most places of interest and a variety of restaurants in the next strret to suit every taste. The hotel itself was modern and the rooms spacious and comfortable, bathroom too very clean and bright. We would love to come back to this hotel and slso try the sister hotel in the grand sablon as we stopped there to have a look.
