This is Chinese home-cooking at its best. The menu is very simple and everything is cooked in front of you using beautifully fresh ingredients. The young couple who run it are extremely kind and helpful and are very happy to adapt anything to your request. I understand this restaurant can get very busy at lunchtime as it has been discovered by local students but in the evening it was quiet and very pleasant. It also does a good local takeaway trade.
The noodles, sautéed on a hot griddle rather than being cooked in a traditional wok, were extremely tasty and I can highly recommend them. The large portion sizes makes this restaurant outstanding value.
