Stayed in this Hotel over the past weekend and found everything to be absolutely perfect. We had a classic room which was perfect everything 5 star.
The service in the hotel is tops
The Chrystal Room offers a wonderful bar with and dining.
Location is in one of the nicest areas of Brussels surrounded by designer shops.
Brussels has a lot to offer for a weekend break. Also good communication to other Belgian cities, Gent is definitely worth a vist.

The hotel is really well designed and has a nice vibe to it. Service is very good and I did appreciate being called by my name by the staff.
Excellent rooms with great showers and toiletries.
The bar is elegant and modern and seems to be a hang out for the beautiful people.

I did find the dinner menu rather unappealing but that was just a matter of personal taste.

The hotel was booked for me through the EU Parliament. However, when I tried to check-in there was no record on the hotel's system. Fortunately, I retained a copy of the confirmation e-mail I had received from the Parliamentary Secretary.

A room was found.

The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from Brussels Midi, convenient for the Eurostar and about 20 mins walk from the EU Parliament. The main tourist area is also about 20 minutes away. The area of Avenue Louise is contains the main shopping area for Brussels - lots of fashion shops.

The room was five star - no question. It was very comfortable. The chocolate provided for your pillow comes with lots of others - in a box!

The hotel proved to be a good base for my business, if only the check-in had not been messed up.

Booked this hotel through their website and get an amazing price due to the "3 for 2" promotion (250 € for 3 night - superior room - breakfast included: what a bargain !).

Since the refurbishment, all in this hotel is perfect in term of design and luxury.

The room was very confortable. I was upgraded (thanks to A-club membership) to a deluxe room and got a nice view of the inner garden (and restaurant). The bed was excellent and the Plasma TV was very nice with plenty of channels. There is no entairtainment system, for your information. The free minibar is a very nice touch. It seems that their are not a lot of difference between kinds of rooms (only the location in the hotel).

The bathroom was perfect with a very nice rainforest shower (but notice that water is going everywhere in the bathroom). Hermes amenities is definitively a very nice touch too.

The expresso machine is very good, try it !

The refurbishment is not completely finished so we heard working sounds during day (and night).

The staff was very friendly from the beginning to the end even though the check-in process is a little bit long (had to wait 15 minute). Hopefully, the lobby is astonishing so it wasn't to difficult to wait.

Regarding the check in, one advice: do not forget to print your complete confirmation, were they say that the minibar is free as the wifi access, otherwise it is not automatically given (they said that it is only valid for booking from their website but it was also available from voyages-sncf.com and therefore expedia).

The breakfast was excellent but you have to order what you want from the waiter (even if it is free) : fresh juices, eggs, pastries...Do not hesitate, even if it is a little bit strange.

We tried the room service, that was not so expensive and very tasteful (so we booked it also the third night).

We had also a free voucher (a-club member) for the bar who seems to be one of "the place to be seen" in Brussels. Very chic and trendy. You have to try it !

Regarding the location, to be honest, it is just opposite the Hilton tower, that means not really in the historic center of Bruxelles where I usually stay.

It is just near the fashionable Louise Avenue (But we Aware that the Taxi Drivers still call it Sofitel Sablons, its former name. By the way, avoid the taxi drivers - very rude - as the pleague and prefer Metro, the station is just 1 minute from the hotel and its very convenient).

The Grand place is at a 20 minutes walking distance through the Parc Royal and Galerie Ravenstein. The return journey is more difficult (a lot of stairs).

Was their with my dog and they were perfect, especially the receptionnist who got the same (a French Bulldog) and who was very friendly.

As a conclusion, it is a completely renovated hotel, with a very distintinctive feeling, and very interesting price (due to its location I suppose). I Stayed in severall hotels in Brussels and it is my favorite. The only negative point is definitively the location. If you are young, it is not a problem, otherwhise, prefer an hotel near the Grand Place (NH Grand Place with its renovated rooms is a good choice).

Our change of dates saw us being allocated accommodation by Railbookers into the Sofitel Brussels Le Louise which has to be in the best location in Brussels. Only 4 stops on the Metro from the Eurostar and thereafter a 3 minute walk. This hotel is just what you need for your initial visit to Brussels, Modern, clean and most importantly helpful knowledgeable staff who go that extra mile. The inclusive breakfast will set you up for the day.

I just stayed 1 night at the Sofitel Le Louise and it was absolutely wonderful. The room was 1 of the nicest if not the nicest I ever saw ! The reception was courteous , friendly , swift and it took not even 5 minutes to get checked-in.
Bathroom with great Hermès toiletries , bathrobe , beautiful rainshower ! The room itself was so relaxing and the bed was heaven ! I have stayed in several hotels in Brussels but this was the best till now. I did expect a little more from the breakfast and everything was very fresh and nicely displayed but no eggs or warm things. Maybe you could order this but that wasn't clear.
If you are looking for a great place to stay this is the one !! Easy reachable by metro and great shops around.

I arrived at the Sofitel Le Louise at 10:00 A.M. and was very pleased that a room was available for early check-in. I took the Express Airport train to Gare du Midi (Zuid/South station) then the Metro (line 2/orange, direction Simonis) 3 stops to Louise. I didn't have any problems maneuvering my luggage since all of the stations had escalators which were in operation. The hotel is about 1/2 block from the Louise metro stop and is located across the street from the Hilton. I had reserved a room with a King Size bed and the room overlooked the Ave. Toison de L'Or. Since this is a very busy avenue, I could hear sirens but I was never awaken by the noise. There was a small refrigerator in the room with space for your own beverages. The bedding is all feather, but if you're allergic, the housekeeping staff will change your beddiing. I only speak English and I was always able to communicate with the staff. The telephone was programmed in English making it easy to arrange for a wake-up call or to request service. There is a nice flat screen television with several stations in English. If an American/British movie is aired on a local station it is broadcast in English with French/Flemish subtitles. The breakfast was artfully prepared with ample choices of meat, cheese, rolls, cereal, juice and fruit. The staff will also prepare eggs or pancakes upon request.. The area is upscale with many designer shops nearby. On the same side of the street, as the hotel, there are a few casual restaurants with take away service offering sandwiches, chicken and ice cream. The city center is up to a 30 minute downhill walk and is uphill coming back. The Central railway station/metro is around a 15 minute walk in the same direction as the city center. The Central Railway station is the 1st stop for the Hop On and Off Bus tour which I highly recommend. Also, reachable within a 15 minute walk, is the Palace of Justice with a city view, The Modern and Fine Arts Museums, The Cathedral St. Michel Gudule, the Eglise St. Jacques, the Notre Dame Sablon Church and the Petit Sablon Park. On Sunday, I took a taxi back to the airport which cost 40 Euros plus tip. My room rate was excellent since there was a special offered which was pay for 2 nights and the third night was free. I enjoyed my stay at the Sofitel but may choose to stay closer to the Gare Central on my next visit.
