“so so”
Reviewed July 23, 2014

it's just ok. not very authentic. sort of pan-Asian, designed for the Western taste, that wants to see a variety of Asian cuisine on the same menu.

“Nothing special”
Reviewed July 12, 2014 via mobile

We went for the second time in 2years to Lucy Chang. The restaurant is situated in a nice area in Brussels - Ixelles. The reception was not really warm. We were first seated next to a couple with very noisy kids, so we immediately asked for anotner table. The older waitres was swearing at this moment, which was unacceptable.....

After getting a different table, including a very friendly, young waitress, we ordered our food.

The cocktails and starters were served in a hurry, the main dish followed shortly afterwards... The entire experience looked more like a business lunch due to the pace of the dishes.....

In the end the food was just fine, but would we to back? For us there was no added value compared to another average asian restaurant, so no we will not go back....

“One of the BAD Thai restaurants in BR”
Reviewed April 17, 2014 via mobile

The chicken and vegetable glass noodle soup had just some sprouts and NO other vegetable whatsoever! Moreover the noodles were rice and not glass. The soup with vegetable and rice noodles only had 2 tiny pieces of broccoli! The blandest Asian I've had in Brussels, while the chicken was dry to the extreme. The spring roll was ok but for 8€ per piece it was a joke.

“Not for the food, more for relaxing atmosphere”
Reviewed March 29, 2014 via mobile

This is our to-go place w our kids when we just want to relax and have some 'ok' Southeast Asian food in the neighborhood. The place is really nice with good music, zen deco and soothing lighting but it's the food that seems to lag behind. Pan-Asian menu that goes from Korean beef(really not authentic),Peking duck to Thai noodles, they seem to be too ambitious in their offering - better concentrate on quality than quantity. Still we go back because it's a rare place that welcomes kids and the kids are happy with fried noodles and Peking duck. We stick to noodle soups and salads. Again, I wouldn't go out of place to come and dine here but not a horrible place either. Just sit w a drink and watch the kids enjoy dining out w their parents.

“Better to avoid this one”
Reviewed July 11, 2013

It was my Belgian friend chose this restaurant, just because they have terrace along the street, and the decoration looks cozy. Both of us are so disappointed by their cooking, not worthy to eat there at all. The starter dumpling seemed over cooked, and the chicken salad was seasoning with sugar which is not authentic at all, the wan-tan soup was too salty....such quality for the price we paid, it's a shame.

We noticed there are no Asian customer at all. Advice from an Asian: better try other Asian restaurants than this one.
