An elegant hotel in a nice location (a bit like London's Bond St). Plenty of bars and restaurants about a ten minute walk away in the Naamsepoort area, so no need to feel obliged to eat at the hotel.

As the hotel is only four metro steps from Midi station, getting the
Eurostar back to London was quick and painless.

Very spacious bedroom and a decent-sized bathroom.

Definitely recommended.

My room was specious, clean and tidy, staff was courteous and helpful but the hotel WiFi was a bit too expensive at about 10 Euros per day. In my home country I would never agree to pay for the Internet in a hotel.

We booked this hotel for a weekend stay and everything was perfect. The staff, the position the room and the facilities were second to none. We arrived a little early due to the time of flight but we were given access to the room which was well positioned with a terrace nd great view of Brussels, the room was spacious and bright. Very clean throughout with a seperate toilet and bathroom. Mini bar ( albeit overpriced) and well stocked hospitality tray were replenished daily, as were the towels - although not the toiletries !! Sauna and gym facilities looked great !!!
We did not eat in the hotel, although the menu choice looked very nice. We were able to leave our luggage after a midday check out. Laila at reception was particulary friendly and extremely helpful. We git a great rate from a discount site but this by no means compremised our stay.

Room was large but terribly dated. I see some photos here of modern rooms so they must have done a partial refresh. Nice trick. Bathroom worse than college dorm quality. Bed springs worn out. Breakfast in Morrocan style restaurant - stage for something exotic and wonderful - includes cheap grey cold cuts and doctored orange juice - thinned with sugar added. Mgmt here knows all the tricks. They give you a 'deal' on breakfast which brings it down to 13 from '25 euro'. Powdered eggs and haacp questionable cappuccino for 25 euro? They have cut corners on everything. Feels like it used to be better. Thon corporate should dump this franchisee. Old school up charges for every service. 10 euro wifi. Gym and sauna disgusting. Almost all machines and showers have 'out of order' signs. Never again!
