We strolled in looking to maintain drunkenness and grab a basic snack. Didn't expect much quality or portions on a chicken lunch plate based on their low price. When it came- BAM. Gorgeously prepared; chicken kabob with a mustard/herb vinaigrette, beautiful provisions, amazing potatoes, and these incredible fried dasheen balls. An outstanding lunch plate with flavors that respect yet deviate creatively from traditional caribbean cuisine. There so many perfect flavors I didn't want to leave Mero without gorging on Romance Cafe fully. So I ordered a whole other lunch plate. It hurt the rest of the day but it was worth it.
And the restaurant colors are great too in this hideous way- baby blue and flamingo pink.
Also, I saw some amazing fish while snorkeling along the rocks on North end of the beach.
