Dunsley Hall Hotel is just outside Kinver, and close enough for a walk down into the centre of town. It’s an attractive place, with lovely gardens, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room we were given was perfectly nice – a lovely window seat, decent bed, a good bathroom with a great shower and a spa bath and all very clean. But even with the discount we’d got by using a booking portal, it felt a little bit overpriced for what it was; if we’d have paid full price I would have expected much more for my money. There were also a few niggles – the pillows were tiny and the homemade biscuits that should have been such a nice touch were virtually inedible. And a 10 o’clock check out, particularly on a Sunday morning, just seems too early. We could have asked for a later check out, but at 9 o’clock the staff were already hoovering just down the corridor so they definitely seem keen to have you move on!More
