“Quiet, great views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2014 via mobile

Lovely views from number 25 on fourth floor across to Mt Coolum and across to the sea. No apartment blocks on that side to block the view. Very well equipped and spacious apartment. Can cook full meals if required. Lovely and quiet. Secure units and car parking. Very close to the beach out the back gate. Had a very relaxing weekend. We'll be back.

Stayed February 2014, traveled as a couple

Stayed here for a week of golf, on the highly rated local courses. booked through A1 holidays and a payment plan set up, on arrival the congenial manager/host John told me I still had an outstanding balance of more than half the full tariff. Confusion arose but after shooting 79 off the back tees at Twin Waters my great mood and high spirits were not going to be spoilt. So I left john to sort it out. Our 3bed apartment was clean, bright, well appointed and airy with a SE aspect with views along the sunshine coast beaches to Caloundra.
the next day during our round at Tewantin/Noosa GC John called with an update he contacted A1, the error found and fortunately in my favour the refund credited to my account.
Thanks John for your honesty and diligence in securing my refund, thinking of a trip to the sunshine coast Queensland try staying at Salerno on the Beach, its a little bit out from the main drag, Maroochydor/Maloolabar etc but the beach 2 minutes walk away is clean, supervised and bears only a third of the traffic of its better known counterparts a little further south.
Forget the Chinese restaurant across the road its licensed ONLY absolutely NO BYO ????
The North Shore tavern serves a good meal about 10 minutes drive or venture up to Coolum and Noosa for that special dinner.

Room Tip: Ask for a SE or NE aspect for coastal view, floors 3,4 or 5. If you prefer to watch take offs and l...

My family stayed here for 2 nights. Had a great time close to every thing, beach, shops etcs. Facilities were great manager very helpful. Used bbq area and pool. As we booked 4 apartments we noticed a difference in each room.

Fantastic place to stay, very clean if u didn't move the couch, we were looked after very well, and because I didn't want to stay next door to my sons an family I was moved up to the next level without even a blink of an eye. The side of the building we was on didn't get any sun at all which made the room a little cold but that was solved by going onto the beach which was just beautiful. The second bathroom did not have a fan for the steam and unless your a bloke u couldn't open the window as you could see if anyone was on the inner balcony. We didn't find the airport noise much of a problem at all. We had easy access to the restaurant in the next hotel an u should try the seafood platter for two, "nice". The manager was very friendly an helpful I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel when it was fairly new and havent forgotten the beautiful ocean views (on the beach side of the building), the nice aspect of the units and it being right on the beach with no roads to cross. I recently booked it for 2 nights but was very disappointed.

We had an ocean view (at side of building) 2 bed unit on the 3rd floor and it was really very poorly maintained. I will not be returning. The manager admitted to my husband that he was aware of some of the problems and said he would have them fixed by the time we come back. Guess what, we wont be back and feel ripped off!

1. Advertised as having cable television when none existed in our unit.
2. Balcony had no sun lounge
3. Ensuite bathroom off the main bedroom had such loud water hammer in the shower that I had to get out soaking wet and use the other bathroom on two occassions.
4. The toilet in the main bathroom leaked all over the floor & couldnt be used.
5. The ensuite bathroom floor off the main bedroom was covered in long black hair. Not just a few but lots everywhere. It had obviously been mopped but not swept or vacuumed first.
6. When the glass sliding door to the balcony is closed, it sounds like a noisy engine is running. My husband thinks it may be something to do with a vacuum created in the building and could be easily fixed if someone cared enough to attend to it.

Stayed for 3 nights, paying $165 a night for a 2 bed appt. and overall pretty impressed- apartment was nicely furnished and its just a 2 min walk to the gorgeous beach. A few maintenance issues- running toliet, ants and lack of cutlery and loo roll! Pool a bit disappointing- quite small and not very clean- made us quite envious of next door's lovely looking pool (Surfair) but to be fair we were there for beach not pool. Managers are really nice and did respond to ant issue very quickly. Not sure we'd stay again as its very close to airport so not that peaceful, even though the beach is nicest we've been to on the Sunshine Coast- patrolled and very safe for kids.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view

Stayed here to attend a wedding at the very plush Novatel up the road so had a chance to check out facilities of both. Novatel apartments are beautiful but you pay for it and good if you want a resort holiday where you can canoe, golf etc and not go anywhere.
However we who did not want to stay in but went to Australia Zoo, Maleny and tourist drive and the wedding found a great room and space with full kitchen and central position for very reasonable money. Thank you.
