I visited this attraction with my 13 year old son.
It is far quite far from Lisbon - You have to take the Metro to Amadora Est & then take a bus for 30 minutes to Dolche Vitae Shopping Mall.
This is very good for childen and has lots of activities that they can do as "grown ups" in their own little world. You could easily spend the whole day here or drop off the kids and go shopping.
When compared with the Dubai Kidzania, I would have to say that this is not as user friendly as that. If you do not speak Portuguese, it is very difficult to do tasks as only a handful of the staff speak English and I would have expected there to be more Multi- lingual staff to help children who cannot speak Portuguese. I had to stay with my son and if I was not there, he would not have anyone to talk to or make friends with. Some of the staff were quite rude & said " No English" when my son we tried to explain that he did not understand Portuguese. When compared with the Dubai Kidzania, i would have to say that the Dubai one is better, have signs in English and most of the staff speak English as my son was able to make friend easily & I did not have to stay with him throughout the day.
As the only centre in Europe, it will be very helpful if the signs were also in English, French or German, so that other European Children can enjoy the day when they visit.
