We stayed at the Sun Wolf Resort for two nights. This shack of a restaurant sitting at the front sent us mixed signals... Quaint? Dive? Fried frozen food? Or was it the real deal?
All food is made fresh and on site... and do these guys LOVE food! I loved hearing them discuss the ingredients they were putting in the meat grinder for their burgers.
We had the salmon egg benny and corn beef hash along with a side of the house made sausage. The love for food was apparent in the dishes we ate, too. Everything was delicious and flavorful! The hollandaise sauce was perfect- not too heavy. The seasoning in the hash was complex and sublime... hints of sweet and smoky.
Our only complaint is that we should've eaten there more than once- I'd imagine that burger meat they were grinding was going to be worth writing about, too!
