Description: Fergie's Cafe is open daily for fabulous breakfasts and lunches. Relax on our sun-drenched deck and enjoy the fabulous views of mount Alpha whilst you feast on fresh, locally-sourced and lovingly prepared food. Why "Fergie's"? Well, before Sunwolf ever existed, it was a very well-known fishing hotspot called Fergie's Lodge. Fishermen came from all over BC and northwestern Washington to fish the Cheakamus, Squamish and Ashlu rivers for Salmon, Steelhead and Char. Today, people are still coming to these rivers for the fishing, so why not give them something to relate to? Fergie's Cafe it is!

“Cozy”

Nice and cozy place! Lovley river right next to it. Did just want a latte but they didn't have that. Tool a nice cup of regular coffee instead.

Negative: no wifi

Hi!

Really glad you enjoyed the location of Fergie's, and that the cup of coffee was good. Hope the breakfast was delicious too!

We've contemplated putting an espresso machine in the cafe, but we always find that for being such a small cafe, we needed to focus on the thing we do best, the food! So we've opted to go for regular, but great, drip coffee from a local supplier.

And regarding the wifi, hopefully one day, we'll get the necessary hookups to be able to provide high-speed internet to the property, and then we'll definitely install wifi!

Thanks again!

“Worth the trip just for the biscuits!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2012

We expected thoughtfully-crafted food from the little place with a blackboard menu and quirky wooden spoons decorated to signal our order number. But we were blown away by how DELICIOUS everything was! The buttermilk biscuits are worth the trip, themselves. I'm not a biscuit person, usually, but they were sweet and moist and perfect! The parfait knocked it out of the park with presentation, although the amazing house yogurt can wow on its own.

Other guests were raving to us about the sausages, made on site. They ordered some of every kind for a birthday celebration that night. Best of all for our group was how one chef, Pixie, considerately talked to a member of our group with severe food allergies. She created a custom breakfast for him, with utmost attention to helping him have a great experience.

We really enjoyed the dining experience, sitting at the outdoor picnic tables on the deck with the heat lamps above us. The peak of a majestic mountain was in front of us and the sound of the nearby river all around. It was especially relaxing having our dogs right there with us. The dog-friendly nature of Sunwolf and Fergie's made this a true vacation for us.
