Obviously this hotel/resort is s still a work in progress. The prospects look good ! Nature has blessed this location. Add the friendly people and Voila !
Increasing the people working would make it all perfect. Increase services. We found out there is no room service and waited 30 minutes before able to get our rented Kayak. Have to go back and forth to the "front Desk" for it.
There will need more tenants/clients/visitors. The more clients, the more income the more people can be hired etc etc.
One opportunity Vegas Hotels have been exploring is inviting locals for a day stay.
This is possible for RBR because of Mayaguez and its University.

Room Tip: the rooms overlooking swimming pool and open to ocean.

I can only echo the, "Could be better review..." Just returned from the resort. Spent six days there. The pool area is empty after about five or six and when it gets dark, there are no lights (in or around the pool) except for the one unattractive spot light that shines down on a towel covering the cash registar in the pool area. You can see this area on one of the site photos during the day when a few people are gathered around. For families that do not have to travel from the US or other distant places, it's fine. But there is no sense to go so far to experience a beach with little waves. The sad town of Rincon is about five miles away and there is nothing to do there. If you love surfing, however, go beyond the town and the light house. There's great surfing from about December to March but little else happenning. The resort is isolated. Certainly do not be fooled by the "free" computer to the right of the desk. I was very patient but finally let the desk people know that it was not working. I was told to, "come back in an hour and it would be fixed." I returned well after an hour and nothing was done. There is no little coffee/tea service in the room that you can make yourself but you can go down stairs and pay $2.00 for coffee. Speaking of drinking, if you like an occassional drink, such as a martini, be ready ! At dinner I ordered one martini and it cost $17.50...plus tip ! I've lived in NYC for years and traveled quite a bit and never experienced such an expensive martini. I'm sure they're out there but, really...

Great place for kids to run around and have fun but to fly/rent car/travel/spend lots of money to experience this spot, well, it's simply not worth it. Oh, might add. If you plan on using the "gym" be warned. It's tiny, very limited with regard to equiptment and basically not good. Tried it for about five minutes and decided to leave.

My fiancé and I spend three days at this hotel the room it's pretty nice a + for me to get to my room and the a/c was on and all the room was cold and fresh. The pool it's nice with access direct to the open beach, the sunset flawless!!!!!, the service at front desk could be more friendly and cheerfully since they are the first face you see when get to the hotel.
The restaurants brassa just near to front desk and pelican at the pool needs improvement in service the personal treat you with a big smile in the first approach but then you have to look for them to get the order. At Brassas the food is great but the sauces for each plate I try was a disappointment only flavor you can get its port wine that wasn't cook properly.
At the pool the food needs improvement rush!!!!!! Chicken quesadilla,a greasy chicken wrap and a Cuban sandwich that taste like old beef ( sorry I am chef for profession for a well known company in PR) otherwise everything was super nice all areas super comfy an the rooms are nice and clean.

This resort is absolutely the BEST!!!
After my childhood sweetheart proposed (in Puerto Rico) on vacation-while deciding where to get married-we both immediately agreed "Rincon Beach Resort"! A year later, on the beach at sunset with the help of Stephanie the wedding co-ordinator at the resort-we had the MOST AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, ROMANTIC wedding one could ever imagine at sunset!!!

One of the advantages to having it and staying here with friends and family who traveled from the states as well as we live in the states too, it was great to hang out the whole weekend with everyone and then go inside-get ready and have the most memorable wedding.

Stephanie gave great recommendations, for cake-flowers-food-open bar-she handled everything and we found it VERY affordable. I handled the videographer--- and photographer...

I was so pleased that I sent stephanie flowers in our colors upon our return to the states! She loved it :-)

We had stayed at this resort over a new years weekend when we were visiting......it is a quiet resort tucked away in a secluded area, with no other resorts or people around......enjoy long walks on a quiet peaceful beach. that was how we found this resort......it will not disappoint you.

We all ate by the pool, and they have a swim up bar as well, the food was great---there is a restraunt also, or they will give you directions to a few places off the resort. Not alot......but some.

Considering this resort----BOOK IT! you won't be sorry :-)
R AND R is in store.........

Room Tip: All rooms are nice, but of course you can't top an ocean view...or front......
