I was really impressed. After enjoying our meal, I asked for an explanation of how their fresh pasta was made -- Christian, the host, graciously allowed me back there and showed me their $10,000 pasta extruder! I've never seen a restaurant -- especially in the middle of nowhere -- spend so much on making extruded pasta! And it was cooked perfectly too! "Al dente" with a sauce of cheese and delicious wild spinach. My wife had the pizzoccheri, which were served with a ton of potatoes, cheese, butter, and spinach.
Everything was delicious, and the hostess, (Stefania, I think) was really friendly, and so kind to our little baby.
I'd go back, even though the road there was CRAZY steep!
