Nice views from the top of the tower. Staff friendly, great landmark for sailors heading for Madusa channel. Worth a visit if you're out for the day.

It's an old Navigation Tower that sits right on the Naze at Walton-on-the-Naze, once owned by Trinity House. It has about seven floors before you get to the observation roof. The floors all have exhibit Art works which are mostly for sale. Warm and cold drinks are served on the ground and first floors or you can sit outside on the picnic benches. The views from the top are magnificent and well worth the climb.

My grandson loved going up to the top of the tower. We then had sandwiches sitting outside in the perfect weather. A very good experience overall.

might seem a lot to pya £2.50 to climb a tower but it is worth it for the view and excellent descriptions. Art on the way up is a great idea with some very good value pieces. cafe pricey but fresh grub

Unique is a word often over-used. Not in this instance. An ancient tower with a rich history ontaining an art gallery and a cafe. How unusual is that? Extraordinary views from the top. Thought the entrance fee £2.50 per person was very reasonable, given the interesting things in it such as the artworks and sculpture, and the detailed history displays. Council car parking charges outside are steep, and rather unfair. Park elsewhere if you have the inclination to walk to the tower. Overall, a great experience.
