Wow, where do I start....the location is the seller for this campsite. We stayed for a week with another family. Our friends had a lakeside corner plot which was huge but we unfortunately had a normal pitch which was on the small side but as we ate at our friends each night didn't matter. The campsite has the most spectacular mountain views and every night was something new to see. The facilities were great and the toilet/showers/cleaning facilities were spotless which is normally my biggest issue with a well stocked shop with bar and restaurant which we didn't go to. The kids had a great time on the floating trampoline, whilst we enjoyed chilling and just taking in the magical surroundings. The Wifi is up and down but isn't always an issue if you are on holiday and need to get away from it all. We did a couple of day trips in the area, one of which was going up the mountain train near Brienz - costly at £122 for 2 adults (children go free) but worth the views. The staff were extremely friendly as were the locals who camp on the site for odd days holidays. There was a storm warning on one day and the locals did advise us how they knew and when it hit the lake went from calms to waves crashing over tents rather quickly but rather spectaular none the less. It was swiss national day whilst we were there - amazing views of the fireworks in the evening and its wonderful to see such a patriotic country. Well worth a trip.

This 5 star campsite is situated in the most picturesque lakeside location with spectacular mountain views. The facilities are excellent with a state of the art bathroom block and a well stocked small shop. There is also a restaurant which looked very nice but we didn't use it. The village is a few minutes by bike or a 10 minute walk and has plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. There are plenty of things to do and places to visit so would recommend as a fantastic base for exploring. This was our second stay here and the return visit certainly didn't disappoint!

We camped our campervan here for 1 night, the views of the mountains and lake on your doorstep are incredible.
The facilities are perfect, large shower areas, toilets and spotlessly clean. There was a breakfast/restuarant we did not use but it looked welcoming. There is internet available you buy a voucher from swiss hotspot, expensive - 15 euros for 3 hrs - but the connection was quick.

Campsite owners are friendly and helpful and the campsite is well positioned for exploring the area.Pricewise - 54 euros to pitch for the night, expensive - but switzerland is.
