“Apart from the opening hours ....”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

This was one of the most enjoyable visits to a "heritage" site that we have ever had ...
We have passed this site so often thinking .. "We'd like to visit but *naughty words* it's still closed...."
Finally - said a retired old man who would happily volunteer to keep it open earlier- we were in the area waiting for my wife's car to be serviced and hung around and hung around and hung around ... until it finally opened and we *loved* the visit. Everyone there was enthusiastic, hugely knowledgeable and very approachable ...
Probably not too much fun for the *very* youngest but for anyone who has enjoyed a printing set, a lino carving at school or even a potato stamp .. you *WILL* relate to this!
Well done everyone involved ... apart from the opening hours .. But you probably have lives to live :-)

“Fascinating”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

Very interesting tour, but what we liked most was the way the enthusiastic staff delivered the tour - really brought it to life - they were extremely knowledgeable yet highly entertaining. There were children on our tour and the staff involved them every step of the way. Very well done.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

Having worked in the printing industry for many years my husband and I knew that whilst we wouldn't necessarily see anything new we're interested in how printing used to be done. The staff are very friendly when you arrive, you're taken on a tour within the various departments and actually have hands on experience, brilliant if you've never seen it before. The staff are knowledgeable and keen to answer any questions you have. Well worth a visit.

“Back in time”
Reviewed August 16, 2012

Even though we were late arriving for the tour - did not give ourselves enough time, all the staff were excellent and very interesting in explaining their work. Hands on for the visitors too.
