“Absolutely Beautiful! We loved it!”
Reviewed August 3, 2011

We arrived at Inchmalloch House and could not believe the views overlooking the countryside, sea and Port Logan Harbour - stunning, peaceful, heaven!! On going into the house we were all 'bowled over' by how beautiful, spacious and light it was and whatever window you looked out of you were surrounded by those gorgeous views, especially in the fabulous beamed ceiling lounge and sunroom, equipped with ipod decking station, much to my daughter's delight. The property is of outstanding quality and everything you could possibly want is provided for you - even a wine cooler (which was brilliant!) It was wonderful to arrive to a couple of bottles of champagne and chocolates from the owners - they made us feel very welcome and are so friendly. The beds are really comfortable and the bathroom is amazing - luxurious - a feeling throughout the whole house.

The owners of the farm, Aileen, Matthew and the boys are a lovely family and nothing is too much trouble and they will help in any way they can. Matthew took my husband and son to do some off-roading in our pick-up, which was really nice of him and something my son will always remember. They also delivered some beautiful eggs to our door which were very much appreciated and delicious.

The area itself is beautiful and Port Patrick is well worth a visit. Port Logan is not too far away with it's lovely harbour and beach and also the lighthouse and coffee shop at the Mull of Galloway are worth a visit for views.

We really enjoyed our stay at Inchmalloch - one of the best and most relaxing holidays we
have had and we will certainly be returning in the future.

The Millwheel cottage is wonderful, fitted out to such a high standard with everything you could need. the views from every window are outstanding . Usually when on holiday your accommodation is just somewhere to sleep and eat but we were happy to spend our days at the cottage sitting on the patio and were very lucky to have such great weather while we were there. Would love to go back in winter and light the impressive log burner. The owners Matthew and Aileen are great nothing is too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend Kirkbride Farm Holiday Cottages.

I would thoroughly recommend any of the properties located at Kirkbride Farm. We stayed in the Cotthouse which accommodates 4 comfortably and has stunning views of both Port Logan Bay and Luce Bay. Aileen and Matthew, the Farm owners could not be more helpful. Left you in complete privacy but were quite happy for you to invade theirs for information, fresh eggs - anything. A beautiful quiet spot to stay with plenty to do in the area. I think we were really lucky to come across this property just by searching the internet. I would highly recommend it and hope to return again.

Beautiful cottage with amazing views over both the Irish Sea and Luce Bay. Has everything that you would ever need for a luxurious stay from a spa bath to wine fridge and wood burner. Very comfortable bedrooms and having 3 bathrooms meant that there was no queue for a shower! Plenty of games and jigsaws and Sky TV. It was hard to tear ourselves away and go out!

Great location for exploring the South Rhins, we swam on a different beach every day - a bit cold but definitely worth it.

This is a must do holiday, if you need to unwind, this holiday home offers it all. Peace, views, walks, good beach, wildlife, so many things we could list.

Matt and Aileen made us very welcome, their children are a delight, ( so nice to see children with manners). Rhett was the perfect egg delivery boy, who always had time to stop and chat, help with a puzzle or play football. Thank you Rhett!

We even managed to spend a few hours helping Matt and Aileen around the farm, this was fantastic fun , milking, rounding up the cows and feeding the new borns. I even got to go on the quad bike.

We have just spent Christmas with our daughters and their families at Dundrum Cottage and would recommend it to anyone. The views on the way to the cottage are spectacular and the cottage manages to match it in terms of quality and service. We have stayed in a number of self catering accommodations but this is the best by far.
5 star does not do it justice.
