We stayed at this delightful B&B for five nights, in order to attend the Blues festival in nearby Colne. What a lovely place - we liked it so much we have already booked for same time next year! We stayed in the large double room which is light and airy - everything lovely and clean and a comfy bed. Shower room was also very well presented with a great power shower and toiletries. It's the little thoughtful touches that make St John's so special. These include the provision of quality teas and fresh milk, biscuits and home made cakes, dressing gowns and even a pair of binoculars to take in the scenic views. The hairdryer is full size and there are boxes of tissues also. Breakfast also excellent with a great choice on offer, from organic yoghurt and fruit, croissants and multigrain toast to the full English fry up with fresh eggs from their own hens. Kath and Doug are ideal hosts and great to chat to. We enjoyed exploring the village too and had a couple of very good meals at the New Inn - the fish and chips were to die for! The train service to Cononley is regular and reasonably priced - we visited Skipton market and also Keighley, where we caught the steam train to Howarth. All in all many thanks for a great stay!

What a wonderful review, Sandra. Thank you so much for taking the time to write such lovely comments - we really appreciate it. We're delighted you both had a good time and that you're returning next year! It was lovely to meet you both too. I'll pass on your comments to the New Inn. Thank you again, Kath & Doug x

We have stayed in many B and B 's in the past, but this has to be one of the best!
We stayed in the family room which was ideal for our family of four.
Kath and Douglas made us very welcome and were attentive to our needs, guiding us to the local pubs which serve food and are within walking distance.
The breakfast was beautifully presented, with a great choice of local produce and fresh eggs from the familes' hens.
The house has a lovely atmosphere and is decorated to a high standard.
The price is very reasonable for the overall quality and we are looking forward to returning again next year!

We stayed at St Johns House during the summer on route to and from London. We were most impressed with the excellent standard of accommodation, which had plenty of room for a family of 5. The room was spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable. Doug and Kath were fantastic hosts and Evie and Fergus were brilliant at including our children in their fun. We travelled by car to Cononley and as the location of the B&B is great for train connection to Leeds, we opted to travel to London by train. We stayed at St Johns House for 3 nights overall and could not fault anything including the delicious breakfast which Kath managed to provide despite being in the process of having a new kitchen fitted, which I'm sure is finished and looking beautiful now. Many thanks to you all for helping us to have such a wonderful holiday. We will definitely return in the future.

We stayed at St Johns with our 2 young children in the family room. The beds were very comfortable, it was spotlessly clean and the kids thought it was christmas with all the toys available for them to play with! We were delighted with the standard of accommodation and the warm and friendly atmosphere. Thank you for staying up late to let us in due to our late arrival! Your children were wonderful hosts at breakfast!

We stayed in this lovely B&B on the 24 and 25 June. Our room had virtually panoramic views over the valley and was wonderfully spacious and comfortable. Its one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in with a lovely sitting area, huge comfy bed and large bathroom. Although it was up a couple of flights of stairs it was well worth the climb and I would want the same room again. We had some lovely trips out to Skipton, Grassington and Pateley Bridge. The breakfasts were lovely and Kath recommended the Dog and Gun Inn which was fabulous for our evening meal. We throughly enjoyed the stay and the surrounding countryside. Great place to have a peaceful break and recharge your batteries.

Room Tip: Be brave ask for the top floor ... enjoy those stunning views.
