Having just returned from a weekend break at Cononley Hall, we want to say just how much we enjoyed our stay. The welcome from Pam on arrival was warm and genuine, nothing was too much trouble and we immediately felt at ease. Other members of her family reinforced this sense of spontaneous welcome. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully equipped but with little personal touches which added to the sense of homeliness. The dining room, conservatory and other areas of this gorgeous old house were all inviting, comfortable, and yet informal. Breakfasts were delicious and we particularly appreciated the selection of fresh soft fruit. All in all, this is absolutely one of the very best B&Bs in which we have stayed and we look forward to repeating the experience.

Thank you both very much for taking the time to write a review. Shame the weather wasn't great on the Saturday, - thankfully it didn't rain too hard on our parade!! (Cononley Gala). I hope you really enjoyed your walk on the Sunday. Look forward to seeing you both again for another (sunny!) weekend. Pam

I have stayed at Cononley Hall on several occasions, and it has never failed to delight. It is a jewel of a place situated in a tiny Yorkshire village, and both the Hall and the village are lovely. Pam and Andy are the perfect hosts - warm, friendly, welcoming, hospitable and prepared to go the second mile to make your stay as close to perfect as possible. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed, with great attention to the little details that change a stay from 'good' to 'really special'. From the White Company toiletries in the en suite, to the selection of fruit, biscuits and sweeties on the dresser, you do feel that you are being indulged. Breakfasts are generous and quality produce is cooked with care. You'll feel that you're having a great break even if it rains!

Room Tip: There is the option of a four poster bed if you book in time.

My wife and I have just spent a week at Cononley Hall as the start to a tour of the UK and Europe. We enjoyed the location, the accommodation and the hospitality so much that it almost seemed a pity to have to leave for the rest of our tour.
We are so grateful for the friendliness and attention that our hosts, Pam and Andy, gave so willingly and love the idea that we could come back some day.

Room Tip: Take the 4 poster if you have the chance

We've just spent a lovely weekend at Cononley and enjoyed every minute. It felt just like home-from-home. Pam & Andy were so friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. The place was immaculate and the breakfasts superb, so well presented and top quality. We especially loved the fruit selection and the 'proper' orange juice, unlike the cheap offerings of other establishments!

The pub across the road served decent food at very reasonable prices and was very welcoming. Emily the waitress was extremely friendly!

Cononley would certainly be a place we would definitely return to.

This was our first time at Cononley Hall and will not be our last. Five star treatment all the way. It was a special birthday weekend and Pam's daughter 12 year old Catherine baked us a cake which was beautiful, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast as a perfect base to discover the Yorkshire Dales and we can't wait to go back. Tim and John

I've just been extremely lucky and spent 3 weeks at Cononly Hall whilst training for a new job. Pam and Andy could not have been more welcoming and kind. The breakfasts are absolutely fantastic with homemade toast and jam, and far more choice than you often get in larger hotels. The rooms were spotlessly clean with really nice little touches in the room. The bed practically begged me to get in to it every night the pillows were so squishy and inviting! Hopefully I'll get to pop back down and have another week! Thank you Pam, Andy, Catherine and Adam x

We have just returned from a midweek short break. This place certainly deserves its 5* rating. Pam and Andy were very friendly and welcoming giving us some really good tips about the area and local travel services. Train service is excellent and the station only a 5 minute walk.
Little touches in the room made all the difference. I really appreciated the very good quality toiletries and sweets!
The breakfast was also very fresh and nicely presented and cooked.
We can certainly recommended this place and will stay again when visiting the area.
