This was our second stay at Langleigh House. Yet again we could not fault anything. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast delicious every time. Very friendly and helpful owners. Berrynarbor is a lovely village, walking distance to the village pub and 5 minutes drive to Ilframcombe.

Room Tip: Stayed in a double and a twin, both excellent

Stayed at Langleigh house with my sis and we are fussy about where we stay. If there's a fault we will find it however we both agreed it's beautifully decorated and immaculate. Can't wait to return, friendly service and lovely rooms. One of the best places I've ever stayed in, it gets a 10 from us. Location picture perfect too :))

We were lucky to have chosen the warmest weekend so far of 2014 to visit Devon. And to go with the warm weather we had chosen a wonderful guest house. Andy and Gill were friendly and very attentive. They made us feel very welcome. The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable and, as confirmed later in our visit, newly decorated. Breakfast was very good; we didn't need lunch until mid afternoon after walking around the Devon coast.

Having stayed at this delightful B&B on several occasions we now feel we are visiting valued friends. Gill and Andy cannot do enough to make you comfortable and after a long journey the tray of tea and cake are most welcome. From the grounds to the rooms everywhere is immaculate and the breakfasts are extremely good. No stone is left unturned as regards to the tastefully decorated rooms, the well equipped bathrooms and the facilities in the grounds for the guests. This is more than just your average B&B. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Having spent the previous night in a hotel which was far from our liking, we were determined to find somewhere near Ilfracombe that was of a high standard. Having read the reviews of Langleigh House and spoken to Gill we arrived in the very attractive village of Berrynarbor, just a few miles from Ilfracombe. We were delighted with the room that Gill showed us and immediately upped our stay to two nights. The room although relatively small, was fresh, tastefully decorated and extremely clean, as was the ensuite shower room. The views of the garden and surrounding countryside were lovely. Gill and Andy were very friendly and welcoming hosts and having discovered that we were on our way home from honeymoon they very kindly left a bottle of wine and card in our room, which was greatly appreciated. Our locally sourced Devonshire breakfasts on both days were delicious and filling. Our stay here made the end of our honeymoon very enjoyable and special.. The bonus of good pub food just across the road was an added bonus. We would definitely recommend Gill and Andy's hospitality, we were just sorry that we hadn't found Langleigh House the previous day and that the weather wasn't warm enough for us to make the most of their lovely garden.

We stayed in the Langleigh end of September Gill couldn't do enough for us even supplied decaf teas to the room. Nice touch of a cup of tea and some cakes when we arrived. Quality room, lots of space and good sized bathroom. Excellent breakfast nothing was too much trouble.Top of the list to stay there again.
