“another perfect stay”
Reviewed March 16, 2014

Our second stay. Sue and Mike's hospitality was superb again and they looked after us and our greyhound very well. Lovely food (including evening meal), peaceful area despite being so close to the A5. We love the garden room with its patio doors that lead directly into their lovely big garden - perfect if you have a dog. We will return!

My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights at the White House when visiting Bletchley.

We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Our bedroom was huge and clean, we had fresh Egyptian cotton towels every morning, access to the dining room with microwave, endless cake and the essentials like milk in the fridge.

Mike and Sue create a relaxed atmosphere with a real luxury feel, you have your total privacy but know they're available to help.

The cooked breakfast is a real treat and little details like the home and garden magazines meant we had a lovely relaxing time.

They also left us a gift in the room when they learnt we were celebrating and let us have a late checkout on Sunday.

It takes no time at all to get to Bletchley Park, we didn't have a car and coped perfectly using taxis.

It took us less than 50 minutes to get here from London and we're most definitely going to come back and stay longer, there's so much to do nearby.

There's a reason visitors love staying here and we're glad we trusted the reviews.

Thank you Mike and Sue!

Lovely place, beautiful garden in a nice village. Fantastically clean and tidy with friendly and helpful couple (Mike and Sue). Great breakfast. Not the cheapest, but we loved it and will come again..

Stayed for 2 very relaxing nights, little touches like Jammie Dodgers in your room, tea and cake offered when you arrive. Great for visiting Milton Keynes, Bletchley Park. I would recommend The White House as a great place to relax and feel at home.

If you want a warm welcome, friendly service and a home from home, then look no further. We stayed in room 1 which had just been tastefully refurbished and it was comfortable, warm and a great size. Super king bed was fab and we had an extra single bed for our daughter which fitted perfectly into the large bay. Super breakfast and 'the best cake ever' topped off a lovely stay.

We stayed at Mike & Sue's to venture into MK for Xmas shopping, and what a lovely place to stay. The room (1) was spacious clean and well appointed with a huge comfy bed and a nice ensuite shower/WC. We are not fans of cooked breakfasts, so just had toast and cereal of which there was a good selection plus some lovely fresh fruit salad. We ate in the Italian restaurant a short walk up the road which was part of The George pub, the pizza was very authentic and delicious. My only reservation in writing this positive review is that it may be fully booked next time I want to stay there!

Room Tip: Room 1 on the ground floor had French doors overlooking the garden

This is a wonderful B&B where the hosts, Sue and Mike, went out of their way to make our stay special. We had a pot of tea and delicious homemade cake on arrival and, when they found out it was my mum's birthday, they presented her with a bottle of wine. We stayed in Room 1, which was spotlessly clean and had the most comfortable bed I've slept in for a while! My mum and sister stayed in Room 2, which was equally as comfortable. The full English breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. If you're visiting the Milton Keynes area stay here, you won't regret it!
