We visited as a family group - 3 children plus partners, one grandchild of 20 months, and Mum and Dad. The location suited everyone: one couple went to nearby beaches for swimming and surfing; one couple used the gite as a base and went exploring; the couple with the toddler travelled less widely and used the walk-to beach. The large garden, together with friendly sheep, rabbits and cat proved a paradise for the toddler - a highlight of her day was taking bread to feed the animals and stopping to practise her slide and swing technique on the way back. We all appreciated the wood burning stove! The croissant-fetching rota proved no hardship as the walk to the boulangerie was so pleasant and you could nibble the delicious croissants on the way back. Debby was incredibly helpful and friendly. Lots to do and see in an unspoilt, deeply rural area.
