please be warned this is under new management and its absolutely dreadful. The showers were not cleaned properly the whole time we were there the rubbish on site never emptied. The owner smelled of booze when we got there and the office was closed all the time. I had stayed here many times under previous owners but will never return after last experience.
Perfect place to stop between Calgary and Maple Ridge BC.
Very accommodating especially for our new small and nervous Rescue dog.
We have stayed here about 15 times over the last 5 years and always a very comfortable stay.
We've stayed at the Shuswap Lake Motel and Resort a few times now. It's always clean and well-groomed. The owners take great pride in their facilities. The cabins are a little dated, but they are spotless. The owners are incredibly helpful and accommodating. It's just so relaxing to stay there. It's just up from the beach - easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

Not too many hotels have picnic tables, lawn chairs bar-b-ques right out their front doors along with a fully equipped kitchen and not to mention the fire pit for gathering around on our star lit nights. We do have free internet (Wi-Fi ) and most of the rooms are getting larger wall mounted televisions Our number one priority is cleanliness and giving exceptional service to all the people who walk thru our doors.
We spent the first night of a multi-week camping trip here and were very impressed by the grounds maintenance, cleanliness - of both the site and the washrooms, and privacy in the camping area.
While there was traffic noise, it's offset by the convenience of the location. We were in an unserviced site, but were close to the washrooms which was more important.
Thanks for the good comments . We are close to the highway but that is how you found us . We are not close to trains, airports or noisy boats and party goers .Being a small campsite with a small motel sometimes has its advantage - we can spend more time on keeping the place clean and giving personal service to our valued customers such as yourself.
We stayed two nights at a campsite with our little trillium travel trailer. It was easy to park, it was well equipped, organized, clean, with privacy that you don't often have at a private rv place. As always our hosts were accommodating and they just run a really well-organized comfortable place. We will be back again next year!
