This hotel has a history that is to be discovered by watching at the pictures on the walls. It has been completely refurbished, room is large enough, TV is LED HD and all spaces are very well decorated. Buffet breakfast is very good, and the best of it all is the distance to the castle, just 200 metres away. In the evenings, guests have a couple of options to dinner by the 3 restaurants around the hotel, which offer very good dishes at afforadable prices. One nighst stay here is a good option after seeing the region, and it is just 1 hour and a half by car from the centre of Paris.
It is important to say, that the lady at the front desk in the evening was very kind and explained all services provided by the hotel. In general, all the staff was nice to us.

We received a very friendly welcome at this lovely hotel. Our room was superb and overlooked the street. The bed was wonderful as was the bathroom and shower. You want for nothing here! Refreshments in the room and a bar downstairs in the lounge. Breakfast was perfect, service as usual, brilliant. I love this place. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will try to next time.

Renovated a couple of years ago, the hotel is stylish in a minimalist sort of way, lots of white, clean lines, nice things around the place, that sort of thing. Our party had two superior rooms, both of which were lovely, the bathrooms terrific, the beds extremely comfortable, I am running out of superlatives here. Added to all of which the staff are terrific too, nothing is too much trouble, it seems. There is no restaurant but there is a bar is available. Our reakfast was superb. Parking in the courtyard is possible. Do stay there, its the nicest hotel....

Room Tip: The superior rooms are lovely.

The entrance to the hotel is from the rear with a free car park & patio area. It looks ordinary when driving in, but the rooms were recently renovated, very comfortable beds, quiet, and a room safe. The bathroom is very modern with a hair dryer, large soaker tub and a shower with a rain shower head and a hand-held head. Kettle for tea & coffee in room. There are tables and chairs on the patio in the courtyard area. The owner was very friendly and spoke fluent English. Only a couple of hours to Charles de Gaulle airport, so a good place to start or end a tour of the Loire Valley. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: We had room 4, twin beds that are pushed together allowing for a large bed, unusual for France.

As a final stage of our holidays we stayed with the family in Burgevin. what can one say?
- A very friendly host
- a great room ( junior suite ) for four ( 2 little kids)
- everything clean, need and nice

The owner was helpfull finding a nice restaurant ans made the reservations , a great choice. Furthermore, he did not charge breakfast for the children. Great service and we will come back indeed.

The hotel has been in the family for well over a century and has been completely restored and tastefully decorated. We stayed in a standard room. It was soundproofed, bright and well equipped including a safe, wifi, an armchair and a  large bathroom. We took our breakfast  in the spic and span courtyard. The buffet-style breakfast included a very good fruit salad, yoghurt, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, home-made jam and a variety pastries and bread to choose from and we were offered freshly pressed orange juice. Our hosts were charming and made us feel very welcome. This is the nicest hotel that we have stayed in in the area which we've known for many years.

What a wonderful and modern hotel here based in a old house fully renovated. Staff here is really nice and helpful. You will enjoy your stay here. Very comfortable bedroom with large beds and nice bedding. The room is very well equipped as the bathroom with a nice and large shower. Breakfast buffet is nice. Perfect place to stay for visiting Loire valley.

Room Tip: Ask for a room parking side, not the other side being on a main avenue (noisy!)
