We stayed here with our trailer tent overnight on way back from a lovely Castel's site in Dordogne.
The pitch and overall site are fine and has some nice features including a small fishing lake but the site feels neglected - especially the pool (the main one has a cheap plastic cover) and toilet blocks. The reception/shop has a very limited supply and is overpriced (exception is the local wine and bread/croissants. However, what really ruined it for us what the restaurant - after sitting down for about 25 mins a well meaning but very confused lady eventually took our orders - 2 pizza, 2 portions of frites and a fish and rice dish plus 4 drinks. Our meal came relatively quickly - some people waited far longer and had to remind the waitress. When the food arrived I can say without doubt we had one of the most disgusting meals I've ever experienced. The pizza had been loaded with 3 or 4 tablespoons of dried oregano and was burnt around the edges. The fish dish consisted of a small "boil in the bag" style piece of white fish and a small portion of rice - bachelor instant style (€8)- it was edible. The chips were on the burnt side of cooked. Despite only a couple of bites it was not until the following day that I had completely removed the taste of oregano from my mouth - all this for €53 (we were charged over €60 and my wife had to go back and get a refund as the waitress had added things we hadn't ordered to the bill.
I know you shouldn't judge a campsite on one feature but charging so much for such food of such poor quality is indicative of a site which simply does not care about anything but making money. Avoid.
