“10/10 A Warm, Friendly, Pub, with A Superb Ambience!”

We both had a wonderful Cauliflower Soup to start with Home-made Bread rolls that Smelt gorgeous!
My better half had the Vegetarian option with a Mediterranean vegetables, I myself had a beautifully Cooked Pork Belly dish and it has to be said, with the Service as efficient as it was, all with smiles.. And a real wood burner crackling behind you, you cannot fail to recognise the hard work they put to you when you arrive from start to finish!!!
It's no doubt one of the best meal's we've had around the Gloucestershire area and intend to return as soon as we can!

“Perfect sunday afternoon”
Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

Popped in on the way to Monmouth for a sunday lunch, although a full bar menu was available, its easily the nicest roast out that i have eaten. Tender beef, rich gravy & vegetables that weren't just an add on but really tasty & perfectly cooked. They were very busy, we hadnt booked but they fitted us in very quickly. Spotlessly clean, very cosy, warm & friendly staff. What more could you want on a rainy sunday!
