We were invited by a couple of friends to try out this 1 star restaurant.

We were a bit overwhelmed at first when entering the estate, but finaly we let ourselves be taken on an adventure of dishes, products and tastes.

We took the walk through the menu option and were served a selection of heavenly dishes. You could taste the quality here and the presentation of each dish was fresh and attractive. Yes, I also eat with my eyes somehow.

The quite young sommelier did an amazing job, and even though I am not a white wine drinker per sé, I went along and discovered 3 excellent white wines, which were in the end complemented by another excellent red.

After a smooth and excellent service - friendly and efficient staff by the way - the chef left his buzzing kitchen and greeted us.

Guys, thank you for a job well done and a heavenly experience.

We will certainly be back.

The food and setting were good, but the price was not in proportion. Fo that price I expected a little more.

staff was mostly apathetic,
place felt without soul. nobody seemed really to care.
food was "so so", appetizers and some courses were combinations of warm and fridge cold ingredients.
some matched some not at all.

I celebrated an important birthday with family and friends and booked the Chef's Table, which accomodates between 6 and 12. Pleasantly located in the kitchen, right next to where it all happens. The Chef and his crew were surprisingly calm and content, nothing like the buzz, shouting and stress you see on TV cooking shows! The atmosphere was relaxed, professional and overall very enjoyable.
We started the evening with aperitifs served in the garden. The exeptionally well presented 5 course dinner served at the kitchen table was enriched by surprise dishes. The Chef served us personally and took time to introduce us to each dish and its obscure ingredients. Desserts (plural!) were served in the comfortable and cosy lounge.Coffee and freshly prepared petit fours announced the end of our dinner, which to our surprise, took us well into the small hours. It didn't seem that long indeed.

I paid 45€ (excl. drinks) for a (daily changing) three course dinner (only Tuesday-Friday), with plenty of additional treats (small starters, extra small desert, plenty of treats with the coffee) and every dish was both delicious and very nice presented. Thats's great value for your money!
Waiters were a bit too formal but correct. Friendly chef welcomed us. I would really recommend this restaurant!
