We first went here about ten years ago and had forgotten about it until we were in the area again and wanted somewhere for a Sunday family lunch. There is a good range of menus – priced from about 21€ to 34€+, wine is extra - each with choices for each course. There is an a la carte option too. The majority are country dishes reflecting the South West of France in general and the Landes region in particular. Portions good, a slight disappointment was the Foie Gras – it was served too cold and this masked the flavour. The rest of the meal was fine. Service was slow, but this is the way there. Over two hours for the meal, but it was so large any quicker service would probably have meant we couldn’t eat it all! The restaurant, which is split into two rooms, was absolutely full, booking is essential. Open all year round except October.
