We stayed at Villa Tiboldi for three nights and had a very good time. The Villa, the room and the views are really beautiful. You stay in the middle of the vinyards. The location of the village Canale is very good in Piemont: in the middle of Alba and Asti.
We also had a winetasting at the wine farm, wat was a very nice experience. The wines are a delight!
The service at reception, the young boy from the 'apperetivo bar and rest' and the ladies at the breakfast was very good. The overall restaurant service really should be better. They could make eating at such a beautiful spot, with that great food and wines, much more special by doing more than the necessarry.

Overall: spoil yourself and go to Villa Tiboldi!

We booked wine tasting at the winery and were met by a very nice girl who asked us where we were from? Norway, we answered. So am I, said Karen Thomsen. Very skilled and enthusiastic about the nice Arneis wines and the Nebbiolo! Mmmm:-)
Then we enjoyed, as the only guest, a nice lunch at Villa Tiboldi. Very good food and nice attention from the staff. The place looked very nice with a small pool and definitely a place to spend a few days of rest and peace.

We spent three days there in July (way too little) and we loved every minute. Great location, beautiful view, good food, great people and you just feel taken care of and welcome every minute. I will go back any time.

Overlooking the wine fields, this beautiful spot has it all:
-the scenery
-the pool area
-the great food from the restaurant
-the architecture and history of the restaurated 1700 Villa
-the actual feeling of being in Italy as the place is driven by a local family
-the Winery at the bottom of the hill where you (for free) can get a tour and taste the wines
-the location (for wine), with both Alba and Barolo reached within less than an hour

Yes, there are minor details which could be improved at the rooms and of the service if you'd expect a 5 star international level.

We experienced a week at 5 star Italien level and will for sure be back!

Amazing location and very good hotel. But it was a real disappointment to have dinner in the restaurant. We were more or less overlooked, timing was poor and it seemed that the staff had some serious issues among themselves. Food is good - not great, but the real issue was the service.

The estate is beautiful and the view amazing! We stayed in a junior suite for two nights. The room was spacious, but the room could have been more up to date (we stayed in room number 1). The AC was hardly working.

Nice pool area and terrific restaurant. The service was good!

I'd say this is a great place to stay for a couple of days. It's extremely relaxing, but also practically in the middle of nowhere.

Stayed here for two nights in the easter on a winetour in Piedmont! Loved the place, the wine and the food! The views are stunning as the place is located in the middle of the vineyard on top of a hill! The food and wine tasting menus was outstanding.
Recommend a tour with tasting in the Malvira winery!
To cold for trying the pool, but that also looked nice!
Would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: No fitnesscentre, mean the nice pool.
