Very atmospheric cellar door. We went here as the last stop on our wine tour with Barossa Daimler Tours. Had such a great time tasting some magnificent wines. They were expensive but noticeably nicer than others we'd tasted for similar prices so were happy to buy them. Shipping them interstate for us was not a problem for them either. All arrived safely. Being able to sit down in a private tasting room made a difference too - I was exhausted from standing around during other wine-tastings all day!
Just as well we didn't go here first or we may have been ruined for all the other wineries!

Yummy wines, that are somewhat a bit more unique than other wineries. No need to buy anything pay the $5 for the tasting and just enjoy.

Framed by beautiful vineyards and in the middle of the countryside, there is the beautiful Torbreck Winery. On one side the big building with offices and probably event venue, on the other side the little brickstone building with the tasting room all in traditional furnitures. Cozy and intimate.
We got a warm and friendly welcome at the visitor center. We were offered some wine to taste and got invited the day after for a free tour of the cellar by one of the guy working there.
really a nice experience in the barossa, not to be missed..

Superb wines that really reflect the terroir of the Barossa Valley- Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro, Semillon,Viogner, Marsanne and Rousanne. Torbreck is becoming the benchmark for the Barossa. Time for the Valley and Adelaide to learn and respect whats going on here- the rest of the world knows- time for the locals to embrace its most authentic and successful winery.
