Owner description: At Two Hands Wines we offer our guests a unique Cellar Door experience through a structured but relaxed tasting with our knowledgeable and friendly team. Situated in the tiny hamlet of Marananga in the Barossa Valley, our Cellar Door is open for tastings and sales from 10am to 5pm, seven days a week (except Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day). Our Cellar Door experience is focused on offering visitors an intimate, informative tasting of the wines throughout our portfolio, from the Picture Series through to our Flagship Series wines. With the ‘Showroom Only’ wines and the latest offerings from the Twelftree range of Grenaches, there is always something new to sample. A modest fee of $10 is charged when participating in a structured tasting, and after being hosted through their tasting experience, guests will be given a complimentary tasting glass, printed with the Two Hands logo and packaged in a bespoke canister to take away with them as a memento of their visit to our Cellar Door. We also offer more exclusive experiences such as our Vineyard Experiences and bespoke tours.

The Two Hands Cellar door was by far our favorite cellar door in the Barossa Valley. We were met with huge smiles by Tamara and Shannon and treated like long lost friends. The wine with explanations of it's origin, history and vintage were wonderful while we sat by the comfy fire. After my girlfriend casually mentioned that I was missing my afternoon coffee the best flat white coffee that I had in the Barossa magically appeared. Thanks Tamara and Shannon. We'll be back.

Dear William & Angel,

Thank you so much for calling through last week and enjoying a few wines and laughs on the couch near the fire. It was such a pleasure to meet you both and hope to see you again soon. Please let me know upon your next visit to the Barossa, we'd love to host you for a lazy long lunch.

Cheers,
Shannon Kruschel

Hi All,

Just wanted to drop the team at Two Hands an excellent review. This is my first time to review on trip advisor (after using it for years), but I had to let people know of our wonderful experience. We had the most amazing time at the winery and was the highlight of our two days in Barossa. I am a big Two Hands collector and was really looking forward to trying the new 2012 Bella's and Sophie's. We arrived at about 11am with 8 adults and two small children and the staff were warm and inviting. Shannon, the manager at Two Hands took us all down into the winery to do some barrel tasting of the upcoming 2013 vintage which was an unexpected and wonderful experience. We then got to sit out on the back deck (was still warm enough on the day) and try some back vintage Sophie's and then finish with the Coach Block and Ares. All in all, everyone in the group who had never experienced Two Hands wines before, walked away with a love of the staff and the amazing wines. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TWO HANDS and we will definitely be back to visit our new friends.

P.S. The 2012 Bella's stellar. Lovely dark fruits, Coffee, spice and a finish that was extremely long and wavy through the back pallet. The 2003 Sophie's was a wonderful wine that was soft, minty, cedary with lovely fruits of blackberry and dark plum (we ended up buying all the 2003 that Two Hands had in their cellar.)

Kind Regards,
Taylor

Hi Taylor,

Thank you for your kind words. It so great to meet yourself and your friends also and spend time enjoying a few wines on the deck. Great choice also on the 03 Sophies, you picked it! Hope to see you up in Karratha, maybe time for a Pilbara roadshow!

Cheers,
Shannon

Read previous reviews and not sure if we went to the same place. Two hands was beautifully modern, clean, friendly staff and we loved their wines the most. We bought 5 bottles from two hands, usually only buying 2 at the most from all the other wineries. Wish we stayed longer here. Thank you for a great experience!

Very average, no sign of life or any indication of any welcome. Nice cottage set-up looking inviting but wasn't. Disappointing.
