This boutique hotel was extremely reasonable. The rooms were modern, spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel staff are extremely helpful. They spent time helping find a last minute rental car during the high season. The Internet is free (there is a computer in the room if you do not have your laptop with you) and phone calls to the USA are free! I would highly recommend this hotel. The only con (for some people) is that it is not in San Jose, however San Jose is only about 15 minutes by car.

According to a local this is a relatively new hotel in Santa Ana. I found it on Tripadvisor and booked it according to the reviews. All the reviews were on target. The place is clean, well maintained, comfortable and the staff is helpful, kind and courteous. We had one minor problem with requesting another bottle of shampoo and an extra sheet which was not received since we had to put in another request the next day. But, when this was addressed with the management, they were displeased to hear about our requests not being filled and stated they would rectify for future. I cannot say enough how lovely this hotel was. We did not eat breakfast in the small cozy dining room , so, I am unable to give any opinion about the food. The staff did say should you wish to stay here the best prices can be found on Expedia and that was the case for us. I would highly recommend staying there and would return in a heartbeat!!

This hotel has better than average amenities for its price range. It is clean, well run and has a superb staff, who are willing to go out of their way to assist you in any way possible. We will definitely recommend it to all our family and friends.

We decided to stay outside of San Jose for one night before we boarded a flight in the morning. When we arrived at this hotel...we were shocked. Based on reviews here (and their website), we expected an upscale boutique hotel with "views of the mountains, the city, or a garden" (as stated on their room descriptions). We got a view of a parking lot, right outside our room. Our room opened to a parking lot, and our windows did not lock properly. We requested a better room (for which we would have paid more for), and we were told there were none....which was not true. The receptionist mentioned something about Expedia (how we booked our rooms) and would not give us a better room, off the parking lot, with 2 beds.

Problems started at the airport, where we were picked up in a tiny car that our luggage did not fit in. We found the staff to be tolerable at best. It felt as if we were 'putting them out' by requesting a different room, or directions to a restaurant. We did not eat there because the prices were ridiculous. We went down to the market in town.

On a positive note, the rooms were very clean and well kept. The king-sized bed was very very comfortable, but the single bed was not.

It was located in a sparse neighborhood in the hills. if you don't have a car, or aren't willing to walk, you must take a taxi to get anywhere. I didn't feel entirely safe in the area (barbed wire and guard dogs all over) and was upset that our windows didn't lock properly.

also, the $200.00 deposit still hasn't been cleared from my bank. Its been roughly 4 days since we checked out.

you get what you pay for.

Looking for an affordable, yet high quality solution? Want to avoid the crowd of San Jose? Go to this newly built hotel just a few minutes from the airport and the capital.
The staff is extremely helpful with all the needs you may have.
There is a large grocery store nearby where you also can buy your coffe gifts for friends for a significantly lower price than in specialty places.
