Te Rewa Rewa Bridge

Attraction details
Reviewed January 8, 2012

The coastal walkway/cycleway has been extended recently and now includes crossing a most remarkable award winning pedestrain bridge. In 2011 an international design competition voted this the best small bridge in the world.
Walkers/cyclists cross the Waiwhakaiho river through styalised whale ribs.Of significant height the bridge structure is aligned to give magnificebt views of Mt taranaki.
A truly " must do" while in new Plymouth.
